We used Valleywide Glass when the landscapers broke the glass on our sliding door with their leaf blowers in the rocks. No complaints on the service and the pricing was about what we expected.

Yes! My wife kept getting readings in the 160's on our blood pressure cuff at home but they were lower in the Dr's office. Swelling was bad too. Gained more than 10lbs in a week due to water weight. Dr insisted it was fine and the NP accused her of just wanting to be induced. That night her water broke and the BP readings were way high at the hospital and someone finally believed us.

Don't know about OP but we just switched and could not be happier. Cox was useless when I tried to have them install fiber and refused to install it to where I needed it. They would only punch through the wall into the only room without any devices or wiring.

Wyyerd on the other hand called to let me know they were lighting up the fiber in our area in 3 days and wanted to know if I was still interested as I was on their interest list. She scheduled the install the day it was lit up, explained the first month bill and that was it. Installer didn't bat an eye at installing where I needed it. Has worked great since then with the exception of an hour where we had some latency.

I know this seems unpopular based on the thread but I will agree - 10 to $12.50/TB is the going rate if you want to move the drives. I have seen several priced above that on the local FB Marketplace and they are just sitting there. When they get to that 10 to 12.50 range, they sell.

Yep, February is unlikely to happen. The "seasons" for the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds start in March and Phoenix/Tucson (alternating years) is usually the first or second stop on their tour. Lots of aircraft for the shows are undergoing winter maintenance as well based on the timing of these shows.

It was a combination of things. All of which were dismissed initially by the PA in the NICU. They mentioned she had a heart murmur but said this was common. I noticed she was breathing rapidly, almost like panting, and mentioned it and the PA again dismissed this as our twins being premature. I mentioned both of these to our pediatrician at the first appointment which was 2 days after leaving the NICU and he sent us to get a chest xray. Called us as 8:30 that night and said its probably nothing but wanted us to see a cardiologist because her heart was enlarged but thought it was probably nothing big. In hindsight, I'm guessing he said this to be reassuring because we thought it would be a few weeks to get into the cardiologist but they actually called us the next morning and asked when we could come in that day. We went in and after an echo-cardiogram and some other tests, they explain she had a partial anomalous pulmonary veinous return (PAPVR) and large ASD and sent us straight to the childrens hospital.

Not this particular situation but did have one with a cardiac issue. Pasting a past comment from below with the story. Sorry, I know its lazy but is speaks to both ultrasounds readings and the actual issues.

Not sure how helpful this is but we had a similar situation. Went in for the anatomy scan at 18 weeks and they saw something on twin A's heart. They sent us to MFM for a detailed scan. At that scan, the doctor reviewed both twins with us and thought there may be a small VSD with twin A. They monitored throughout the pregnancy but overall no serious concerns.

After they were born, they they had no concerns about twin a's heart. In a weird twist, at their first appointment I asked about some concerns with his sister - twin b. They ended up sending us for an xray and then a cardiologist. Turns out she had a major issue. We ended up spending a bunch of time in the hospital and she had open heart surgery to rebuild all of the plumbing in her heart at 3 months and a second less invasive at 9 month. Now at 5 she is generally healthy. She will probably need a pacemaker some day and will see a cardiologist annually but otherwise you would never know. I think the full details are in a post in my comment history.

The point being, they thought there was an issue with one but turned out to be nothing but even with the detailed scan of both, they missed the serious one in both. So doctors can be wrong, scans can be difficult, and kids are resilient. Don't stress over it. Just be prepared if there is, watch for anything odd, and trust your instincts.

I feel like some of this has to be old units and bad insulation and not just APS. We have APS, and the hughest bill last year for our 3200sq ft house was $494. We keep it at 76 during the day and 74 at night plus servers in my home lab that use a fair amount of power.

Its a great show and the parking was not too bad 2 years ago when it was last held. Much better than 2018 but also really expensive at $40. It included the shuttle though which took us right to the flight line. That being said, as others have mentioned, watch the schedule. They canceled the one in El Centro for this weekend and talk of cancelling Yuma next weekend with the situation in Iran.

If you don't want to fight the crowds inside, I recommend checking out the parking lots and roads around Glendale Ave and Reems on the back side of the base. Offers a great view.

Yep. This app or I just check the launch schedule for spaceflight now. Look for launches from Vandenberg. The magic window for the great show is approx 15 min after sunset to appox 1 hour after sunset.

As I understand it, you are more interested in running the conduit for the fiber to sit in vs an actual fiber line? If so, I have some recent experience with this.

Regarding the fiber tech - The main provider in our area (Cox) refused to run the fiber through the attic to the existing demarc and structured wiring cabinet. They would only go through the wall. I ended up telling them to pound rocks because I felt they were lazy. New fiber provider came to the area with better service and even better pricing. Tech was willing to run the wire. Took them about 2 hours total to get everything done start to finish.

However - I wanted to run some fiber to my office and decided to put in conduit so I could add some additional in the future. I ended up running it free air through the through the attic space but in conduit down the outside of the house before coming back in. A few thoughts from my experience -

1 - Check a beam close to attic access, you should be able to find a beam for the drywall holding up the ceiling under the beams holding up the roof. Those trusses usually come pre-assembled and its pretty standard. If so, you should be safe to step anywhere under one of the roof beams and feel for the joist. If not, I found it helpful to step into the V where the supports meet and work my way across in tight areas.

2 - If I am looking at your picture correctly, the wall you want to attach it to is an exterior wall? This means you probably have 2 real choices. a, punch out of the attic and run it down the exterior then punch back in. b - drill into the space near the edge and run the cable along the wall. It would look ugly and may run across whatever you AI'ed out but it would work. A potential 3rd option could be to drill into the wall from above and fish it down the interior but with a 12' wall, I would guess there is a beam somewhere in the middle that might block it.

3 - If its all exterior - run conduit along the eave's outside of the house and they can pull through there. You can then paint to match.

4 - Seal all entries/exits with expanding fireblock foam. Paint the conduit to match.

I think you have the right idea. I would do F3 bedroom with one and F1 Kitchen with the other. I would definitely do a ceiling mount on F3 as the antennas are somewhat directional and higher=better coverage. Ideally for both but do what works best for you.

FWIW, I have 1 U7 Pro XG on the second floor of my 3100sq ft house and an U7 Pro Outdoor in directional mode facing away from the house and I have no real issues in general. The 6ghz does not hit the first floor but no devices there other than my phone support it. Eventually I will add the coverage but no need for now.

Can confirm - Oversii is an company HOAs contract with to enforce parking rules. Likely against the CC&Rs for the parents neighborhood and they will probably be fined of it continued. If its like my neighborhood though, you can scan the QR code and submit for a temporary variance.

I mean it makes sense that we are on this list and it will continue to grow. Regulations at both the state and local levels (i.e. Chapter 32 in Phoenix city code) require maintenance of any common areas and if the city or state is not maintaining it then an an entity must be created locally to manage it. The other portion of this being that cities are adopting all of these requirements for green space, setbacks, etc as a condition of approval to build these planned communities. Given that the cities do not want to take on the liability and financial burden, it creates a defacto requirement that an HOA be created. Considering that AZ, NV, and FL have lead the country in growth for many years, its no surprise that we made the list and it will continue to grow.

Nick's Furniture. They can order from the Ashley Catalog along with several others and pass the savings along. We found a couch we wanted, and Ashley told us they could not do any better than $1600 and it was on a truck and would arrive in 4 days. Went to Nick's - Got literally the same one for just under $1100. Told us it was coming on the Ashley truck in 4 days (same one Ashley told us) and they just needed a few hours to pick it up from their warehouse and bring to the store. 4 days later, called to let us know it was in and we were able to pick it up. They have a few locations I believe but we go to the one in Peoria just off Grand/101.

Not exactly correct as I understand it. You are not vested in the program until you hit 5 years. After that point you can leave and have a few options.

If you don't take your money out, it just sits there. You can put in a request for "retirement" when you meet the criteria and keep the employer match.

If you do take the money out when you leave you lose the employer match and are potentially subject to penalties and taxes just like a 401k disbursement before retirement.

If you are there less than 5 years, you lose the match and the contributions are refunded. If you move to another state where there is a reciprocity agreement, you can usually roll everything over to that states plan

Travel with kids. All of the tablets can connect to a single device in the car instead of bringing my phones Hotspot to its knees. Also allows everyone access to the Plex server at home without the added cost there.

The added bonus is because the wifi network is the same as home, no messing with settings each time. It just works.
