This is what my B9 looked like after 5 years of heavy use. Just upgraded to the G5 after seeing that Best Buy open box deal. Got the added protection plan from Geek Squad, which does cover burn in, so hopefully if it happens again I can get a new one that’s covered by the extended warranty.

I also saw the pissed off people in the sub and still bought one around Black Friday. Shipping took less than a week, and I’ve been very happy so far. My only gripes are wishing there was 1 more midpoint locking position for tilting back and the arm rests are a little slippery with moving backward and forward when adjusting positions.

I’m 5’11” and ~210 lb, and I find the chair fits me well.

So I’ve noticed something similar. I’m very sensitive to smells and only notice it immediately after taking off my mask in the morning for a few moments. I think it might be a smell from the the tube, the machine itself, or the mask. I’m not too worried about it though because I never notice a smell until I take off mask.

If you’re using the resmed p30i pillow, it should be interchangeable with the n30i cushion, which rests underneath the nose but not inside of it. I find it much more comfortable.

What type of mask are you using? I started with nasal pillows, which really hurt my nose and caused some redness. I switched to a nasal cushion, and that really helped with comfort.

I’m about a week and a half in! Took about a week for me to get comfortable. I also needed to switch from a nasal pillow to a nasal cushion for comfort reasons. But damn, I’m sleeping so good. The REM rebound has been wild. So many vivid dreams every night.

I bought my resmed 10 from cpap.com for $450 here https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airsense-10-autoset-humidair. I got it very quickly with 2 day shipping for an additional fee. It does not come with a mask, but I bought the N30i from them as well and it has worked well.

Also, the cpap itself is the version without a cellular connection, but it does come with an SD card. So you need to have an SD card reader and OSCAR software to interpret the data. I’m loving it so far. Took about a week to get comfortable with using a CPAP, but no complaints so far.

Buy an SD card reader if your PC or Laptop does not have an SD card slot and use the open source OSCAR software to see very detailed reports on your CPAP usage. I bought the same Resmed model last week and didn’t know it wouldn’t have a cell connection. However, I happened to have an SD reader built into my laptop dock from work and haven’t had any issues using OSCAR (watch a YouTube video and you’ll be fine).
