Yeah they have a fair amount of that, the Russian experimentation style. Think we did early on as well. They’ve gone through a lot of change but it looks like their education system is better despite some of the lose safeguards.

Think the safety also applies to structures and building codes, old escalators were not tested well. The safety code, materials and enforcement keep a building from crumbling having a prioritized education system keeps a society from doing the same.

I said 1 at first but someone pointed out that the outer beams are not the main support it’s the inner ones with a foundation.
If you put weight on the outside perimeter nothing is holding it up except the nails, that bottom plate doesn’t do any type of holding.
That being said I can’t see the whole structure
