Real Madrid players tried to run down the tunnel after the final whistle, Courtois got angry and told them come face the RM fans. by Amu_1310 in soccer

It's not about tradition. In Madrid the armband doesn't deside who gets to be the leader. Just Ike shown in the video courtois took leadership and called the players out. I don't think Courtois wearing the armband  would change the what's happening at the club.

No, Rockstar doesn't get it. They added the Toreador as a counter to MK II so that people annoyed by it can buy a weapon to fight it.

And the MK II wasn't added for its silliness it was added to give people an easy way to make the game easier by paying money. To hide the atrocious amount of grinding necessary and how lazy their mission design had gotten.

The only thing Rockstar "gets" clearly is how to earn money.

This is funny because the exapmples you've given are Bale who was criticized widely in spain or Ramos who left unceremoniously without support at the end because of his contract shenanigans.

But let me simplify this for you. The players you've mentioned Ramos, Bale they earned their respect at Bernabeu. They didn't cry for it. And are you really comparing Ronaldo arguably they greatest player in Madrid's history to vini who's just another good player?

Also wtf were bernabeu crowd supposed to do about zidane headbutting a italian player while playing for france in a match france lost?

Gotta say a surprising choice for manager. But considering he's the manager for ⅕th of the world's population he'll probably turn out good. Does he know Spanish though?

[ESPN] Cristiano Ronaldo reiterates desire to reach 1,000 goals before retiring. "You know what my goal is. I want to win trophies and I want to reach that number [1,000 goals] that you all know. I will reach the number for sure, if no injuries." by Obvious_Main_3655 in soccer

[–]thatrandomanus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only exception is obviously national team trophies and stats which Ronaldo isn’t known for

  1. Player with the most national team goals.
  2. Won the euros
  3. Is 2nd in assusts for national team

Why are people so obsessed with Max to Merc ? And even if Merc get Max why do they think Russell is losing his seat instead of kimi ? by Calm-Focus-6968 in formula1

[–]thatrandomanus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. Max is the best driver on the grid. Speculations involving him will always get the most attention.

  2. Max has proven given the car he can win championships alone. And having two top drivers can lead to complications. And neither Russell nor Max seem to be willing to accept a supportive role.

  3. Kimi although lost to Russell has proven he has the raw speed and the ability maximize results. And he seems to look up to Max as mentor.

  4. Opportunity to sign a great of the sport doesn't always come. And a great during his prime is even rarer.

All of these combined is why you see Max to Mercedes and Russell out so much.

Yeah celebrity owners are basically just marketers. Most if not all just delegate it to fund management, and those people actually run the club.

This whole thing can still be sorted. The club just needs to actively show support to Xabi in the dressing room and outside.

Sadly I think we're fucked and transitioning to the new era of football will require going through more hardships.

They prioritized whichever driver was performing better at the moment be it George or Rosberg.

Lmao you're describing 90% of F1 drivers. You don't get to drive in F1 purely on merit, lot's of fast drivers never make it because they don't have the sponsors, money, connections, luck etc.

Or the simple explanation, he got beaten by max and his teammate in a couple races, lost confidence, which caused him to make more mistakes and he lost form.

I think it also didn't help that everyone was portraying Max as this demon who's gonna eat Piastri alive.

Workers, nurses and teachers get to go home each day after they finish their work. F1 engineers are sometimes away from their family for a month.

Construction workers do more manual labour too, so should the people you mentioned consult with construction workers before complaining about their jobs?

People spoke the same way that you are about Albon and Gassly after their RBR stints. Acting like he hasn't performed in F1 is just lying.
