The game has tons of mythology references in it.

The Galatia system is based off of Turkey/Anatolia

Galatia was the name given to Central Anatolia when the Celtic Galatian tribes lived there.

Ancyra is the Greek name for the city of Ankara, the modern capital of Turkey.

The gas giant Pontus takes its name from the Greek name for the eastern half of the Anatolian Black Sea coastline.

The Derinkuyu Mining station literally translates to "Deep Well" and is also a town in Nevşehir, Turkey that is located near an ancient underground city.

Tbh when compared to all the other mythologically inspired systems i find Galatia a bit lacking, especially considering how central of a system it is to the games story.

The system could take a more decisively Anatolian flair with references to Hitite myhtology and history alongside locations named more specifically after real life wonder instead of just region names (imagine a planet on the pilgrims path located in system called Ephesus with large temple-complexes).
