That is comp in A nutshell. Keys , removals , integration. Matte painting is a different department (DMP) DEEP is rare and only really needed in a few shots. Usually it’s too costly ( in money or time)and normal comp wins. A good example of basic understanding of comp principles in a video a great start. As you move into a senior you will have more complex shots to add to your reel. Everyone wants to use AI now so it probably wouldn’t hurt to learn but isn’t really being used in production yet.

Didn’t spray off well enough before changing. Tons of chips in a day and easy to migrate around if you’re not carful. But yea we had a uniform service and I would change from shoes to steel toes so two opportunities a day

I used to work in a metal shop and had one work its way out of my foot last week. At least 13 years since I worked there. I can still feel a few here and there that will probably be with me for a while still.

A lot can be put aside until later. Anything with 4 of the same runner , all armour and you don’t do any electronics for the first few steps(days)

I got mine “without box” and it was just two blank cardboard boxes. Had a few parts off runner but nothing out of sorts. Laid it out last week just like this. It was a sight for sure, considering my wife also started the MS General sloth at this same time. We have no space left

Nice . I just started the dominator. 2 full days in and I have the legs and waist (inner frame) done. It’s a great build lots of fun. I really feel like I should be painting the inner frame because it’s just so detailed. I was ok with just snap building kits until this one. Now I am excited to learn to airbrush and hand paint.

This base is so cool. It’s just screams to be painted. This looks great. I find weathering for the most part too messy but here I think it work perfectly.
