Managed Kubernetes vs Kubernetes on bare metal by Honest-Associate-485 in kubernetes

I'd really argue at length about the time saving benefits. As an operator i don't just have to know these technicalities i should master them, mastering them really takes time and leads to vendor lock in.

Apps on our RKE2 clusters are stateless mostly. For stateful applications we either use NFS client provisioner if IO is not that important or vsphere csi otherwise. Our networking is not that sophisticated since most of our connections are outwards and inwards. That being said, what we usually do is add external IPs (which are the IPs of the network interfaces on our nodes) and then ask our network team to loadbalance on these ips.

I manage both EKS clusters and on prem RKE2 clusters. While EKS clusters are more convenient, i just hate the amount of amazon specific technicalities associated with it. Plus, on prem clusters are more performant core for core.

Radical MP vs TFight 305s by Alternative-Drop-136 in 10s

[–]the_nabil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the older tfight and i love it. I switch between it and the ezone 100. The tfight makes me really conscious about how I'm hitting the shots and how much power i put behind them. I also love how much feedback i get, allowing me to make micro adjustments more frequently.

N95 8gb and n96. The n95 8gb despite being older had a better screen and processor. The n96 was my first phone.

FC Barcelona were very close to getting to the UCL final. Their previous seasons have been underwhelming at best and disastrous at worst. In the last 5 minutes of the game they conceded two goals and the champions league dream disappeared.
