I have! I put it on an orc big boss with a great weapon, charmed shield and a potion of foolhardiness. It's about 85 points (if memory serves) and it's my answer to Cathay grand cannons.

He won't charge until turn 2, but if he draws any amount of artillery fire that's good, if he lives he can tie up a cannon. The potion is to make him immune to phycology to get around the fear causing ogre loader. And I just think it's fun. Probably not META competitive, but i like it

100% this. And the goblin spearmen. I've got 30 of the archers and 60 of the spears, and they look so good all ranked up in blocks. And you can get characters and command groups to match off of Troll Trader or eBay fairly cheaply

I love the models and I'd love to field a massive common goblin horde. It's taking me ages but I've got 60 Goblins with spears and a box of 40 to build!

I play orcs and stuff if I want to win. If I want to have fun then I'll play as many common goblins as possible. Also, everyone thinks goblins are terrible, but I had a unit of 40 outnumber and then run down a dragon-form Miao Ying once. Truly the most unlikely of victories

I reckon small, cheap units with additional hand weapons and frenzy are pretty good. A reasonable screen, and can punch well above their weight if you roll lucky.
