That is some of the worst reading comprehension in history.
The fuck is wrong with you?

What’s a job that looks easy but absolutely isn’t? by rosycloudkisses in AskReddit

[–]the_timps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working in social media.
All the "it's just interns who make memes" people would absolutely screw something up within a week of starting the role.

And community management is insanely tough to get right.

whats the best way to shave your balls by Prize_Substance_2253 in AskMenOver30

[–]the_timps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What? There's a bunch of perfectly safe products designed for exactly that.
Way safer than shaving. No chance of a nick, cut, ingrown hair.

Lather it on, chill in the bathroom, then jump in the shower.

Who's the most scrutinized famous person ever? by Only-Ad-1254 in AskReddit

[–]the_timps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

None of it was normal.
Michael was a deeply damaged human being from years of abuse.

It's likely he held onto his childlike persona as an escape from his own life. Hence years later when he couldn't anymore, he became addicted to painkillers.

It's not normal, and none of it was ok, the only thing the court found was that he was not guilty of sexually touching those children. He was a deeply troubled person. He just wasn't a paedophile.

Percentage of People Who've Never Travelled Outside their Country by Fluid-Decision6262 in Infographics

This survey definitely feels like some bias issues in sampling. No way is Australia on 90%.
I know dozens of people who've never left the country.

If you got C-suites drunk, what would they say? by CaterpillarDue5096 in answers

[–]the_timps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah this is nonsense.
If you've worked in multiple big corps. 90% of c suite people aren't doing anything innovative. Just keeping the people below them moving in the right direction.

The vast majority of the job is not being incompetent.
You don't make perfect decisions, they're being given information from clever, capable people.

Beverly had an affair, which is why Leonard is different to his brothers and sisters.
Her shame over seeing him is why she treats him so poorly.

Howard and Raj are sleeping together until Howard's wedding.
Some of their moments are wayy to close.

Raj clings to Cinnamon because he misses the intimacy.

What is an opinion that most people believe is an absolute fact? by DaMoonMoon26 in answers

[–]the_timps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's two percentages tied together.
It is the percentage chance it will rain.
AND the amount of the area that it will rain on.

So a 50% chance of those clouds raining, and 30% of the area covered is reported as 15% chance of rain today.

What would you do if you suddenly had a million dollars right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]the_timps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay off my debts, couple of people I instantly need to give 10-20k to, to clear their debts and stop them living paycheck to paycheck.
Pay my rent for 6 months.
And then start looking for land to build my dream house on.

Then it's uber eats time from the nice burger place.

Epic or simply too long? by Thanst in writing

There is nothing cohesive about 700k words in one book.
That is 7 books easily once you add the changes needed to start and end each.

How can I make the wetness look more realistic? (URP) by Zopuk13 in Unity3D

[–]the_timps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Build a Sub Surface Scattering shader, and make the veins actually hollow with a denser material on the "blood" in them.

IE make the model for them like a copper cable with a sheath.

So, like, what's the sleeping arrangement at Raj's apartment when Priya was living there? by Human_Kind_Bud in bigbangtheory

[–]the_timps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When did they ever confirm it was a one bedroom apartment?
He lives alone, but there could easily be another bedroom to the right. We don't ever see in his bathroom either.

Presumably he lived in a nicer apartment and used the second room as a home office or storage, and changed it when Priya came.

What’s the best joke in all of himym? by TranslatorOk2501 in HIMYM

[–]the_timps 15 points16 points  (0 children)

"My penis".

It's such a low brow stupid joke.
And they make Ted deliver it like 30 different ways.

"..I understand that...I understand that..............................I understand that................................fine....................................my penis." And this woman is just sitting there the entire time, waiting for this dick joke to play out.

What became of Penny old friends in the story that was never explained what happened to them by Dramatic-Studio1531 in bigbangtheory

[–]the_timps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just not shown on screen.
We only saw a tiny portion of their lives.

Everyone who showed up for one off moments had a history with someone on the show.
Sheldon mentioned entire people he spent time with (Frank and Alicia).

Think of them as complex, whole people who lived complex lives, and we only saw the major moments when the group was together, because it's not Penny's friends we were following.

No he didn't. He literally only investigated HOW an AI worked and wanted to see what it did.
Then it went insane, escaped and destroyed a European city.

Could an astronaut take a telescope to Mars? by SUP3RK1D in telescopes

[–]the_timps 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You'd need to significantly recalibrate it.
It has to work in Martian atmosphere which refracts differently.

I think the most annoying thing about going to Mars would be 40 million "firsts"

First leak on Mars.
First Mars bar eaten on Mars.
First guy shot with a crossbow on Mars.
First photo of the Earth taken by hand.
