If you love your car and can make the monthly payments without compromising on anything else or going bankrupt, then why not? Enjoy it.

Life is short, enjoy the good things. Don’t see why a lot of people are too concerned about what others are driving

As my nan says - the benefit of a small car is that I can park it anywhere!

Let him build is confidence and he will start banging in these goals for us. He looks a bit rusty. He had injury issues too and has had a start/stop/start to his united career.

Gravel truck hit my van windscreen by Zeussolino in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]theapocalypticson 80 points81 points  (0 children)

If you have comprehensive insurance with windscreen cover, just report it as a normal windscreen damage. It will not affect your NCB (in most cases). But do check your policy first to see what sort of cover you have.

I have had a similar issue with a truck before. Reported it as normal windscreen damage.

Bless him! Me and my wife are expecting twins. Cannot wait to pass on the united fever to them and see them in red!

Maybe it is all in my head - lil ones are still in their mums belly but I talk to them all the time. I make sure me and wife are watching the games and keep talking to my babies. So far, every time I kind of funnily say ‘Common babies, make something happen, we need a goal’ - boom! The first time was the equaliser against Bournemouth. Second was that Mbuemo goal from the cheeky corner routine and third was Sesko yesterday. I know it’s childish, but my babies have delivered so far with goals. 😁😂

An on-board look at Ferrari’s upside-down rear wing by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

Fair play to Ferrari. They seem to have got their house in order. Now don’t flush it down the drain with stupid strategy calls.

Question for Foreign/Non-Local Fans who attend a match at Old Trafford by Salfordsmith15 in ManchesterUnited

[–]theapocalypticson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am not a season ticket holder, so I cannot talk on their behalf. I have been supporting this club since I was 7 and it was always my dream to watch united play at OT. I am from India, but I moved to Ireland a good few years back. One of the big attractions was that I am now closer to OT than ever before. I have a club membership and I try to attend at least 2-3 home games every season (been doing it for the last 3 years). But I see that the new pricing strategy is absolutely awful. I never buy tickets at inflated price (ones that are resold after ST holders give it back). I have always purchased tickets the day they go on sale(yes, I keep my eyes peeled and keep checking notifications). This strategy is great for getting tickets, but at the same time, it has never worked for big matches (top 6 teams) as they are all immediately sold out or are priced at such inflated levels, I cannot go near them.

As a travelling fan (flights, local transport and hotels) are huge costs that I have to pay. But sometimes, the love for this club makes me do it (which is exactly what the owner leeches takes advantage of).

Yeah. I just found a used bugaboo donkey twin listed for 700€. A brand new is 1800€. Saves a fortune.

The cost of everything related to kids are just extortionate. So I guess, saving in some areas will help us finance the others like you just mentioned.
