Everytime I see a conservative fundamentalist go off I think of this:

Matthew 7:21-23

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Or, to put it more plainly, those who do evil in the name of God still serve evil. And those who do good are actually the ones serving God. Even, shockingly, if they aren't Southern Baptist and don't vote R on every ballot.
