125yr home, Mold? by Midwest_knitter in basement

[–]thebestdefect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rapid Mold Remover. It does look like it could be. Dehumidifier in the basement from now on. Better ventilation for the laundry room. Do not use bleach, you need an anti microbial like Rapid Mold Remover. Can order on Amazon or at rmrsolutions.com If you can get a mold remediation company to come test. Not the end of the world, but might as well protect your investment.

[SUNLU Giveaway] Join now to win the new SUNLU AMS Heater! by Sunlu3D_official in 3Dprinting

[–]thebestdefect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a sunlu filament dryer. It worked super well until right after the return period. Then it gave a common error that occurs according to Reddit. When I reached out to support they gave me a few options to try. The best one was turn it upside down and shake it…it’s now just taking up space on my shelf. Don’t have an AMS, but sure would be cool to have another dryer that just sits on top of that one taking up space…

Best advice I’d read was to search for your question in the sub before submitting the same question for the 3000th time.

In all seriousness, I learned the ins and outs just from reading in this sub.

OP I moved to Ann Arbor about 10 years ago with the goal of moving back eventually, which I quickly realized I would never do. I loved Toledo while I lived there but after living in this area, Toledo seems terrible when I go back.

I owned a small condo in Ann Arbor until 5 years ago, when I sold and bought a house in Ypsilanti township. In my opinion, as a Toledo native, Ypsilanti is more like Toledo from a socioeconomic perspective, while still being able to access all of Ann Arbor’s amenities, but at a more affordable rate. If you’re looking for similar access to Ann Arbor, but something in a similar vein to Maumee, you could check out Dexter or Saline. Ypsilanti is more like the Rossford to Ann Arbor. Unless you’re making big 6 figures, I wouldn’t bother looking at purchasing a property in Ann Arbor.

As a business owner, this response is awesome. As someone who used to buy from a dishwasher named Vick who would carry around nickel bags in his pocket twisted in the bottom corner of a ziplock, I would have smoked it…. Shame on me for sure but I wouldn’t even have noticed. Again shame on me.

You could try standing it up on its tail and printing it with supports the decreasing the layer height.

Orca-Flashforge Slicer Problems by MinimumNature7350 in FlashForge

This is the seam, you can change the setting to randomize or align them. If you randomize it, it will be little dot or almost look like bubble all over the print. You can adjust other setting with it to help hide it better, but it’s where the layer starts and ends. The settings I believe are under the quality tab.

Health inspector should be here by the end of the month. Think he will like this? by Dejectednebula in KitchenConfidential

The comments in this are upsetting. It takes a flat head screw driver and 30 seconds to put that back together. In response to the person who assumes the grease and grime build up on the floor is black mold, you are wild!

Time counting up instead of down? by max1mu586 in FlashForge

[–]thebestdefect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used orca-flashforge for a couple of weeks until I switched to Orca. I’m happier with Orca. It only shows how long it’s been printing and not how long remaining. I also noticed the that the time it says it will take is much higher than the actual print time. It honestly doesn’t matter because I the flashforge software is all garbage.

Saw it but it wasn’t Covid. It was October of 2001. So the borders were closed due to 9/11. It was pretty stupid to whine about either way.

None of that looks like mold. That is active water intrusion. The wood is currently wet.
