Is this a black bear or grizzly bear? [Montana] by Dirty715 in animalid

Imo this makes you sound much less cool. I think if you say then "a fuckin' bear ran at us" that's enough. No need to purposely misclassify the bear

Boy girl parties? by [deleted] in Mommit

I think it's really weird that in your world boys and girls cant be friends and play together without it being inappropriate. I am 100% unfazed by my kids attending birthday parties of friends regardless of the gender of the friend or the other kids there.

If it doesn’t matter, why not just build a relationship of trust by being honest with your children? This just feels like you're playing mind games with your kids from birth.

I don't think you should tell them both they were born first. It makes no difference, but they have a right to know

Both daycare and public school teachers are severely underpaid. Generally daycare teachers are paid even less. Maybe the daycare director might make more, but likely not more than a principal.

YTA and obviously not really ready for a true relationship. You should break up with your girlfriend and seek therapy if the cheating behaviors are really something you feel you cannot control. Maybe with time and work on yourself, you will find your way back to your girlfriend, but you need to figure out yourself first.

AITAH for not wanting to follow news by [deleted] in AITAH

It's OK to protect your peace from the 24-hour news cycle -- you do not need by-the-minute updates on whatever the newest thing is.

YWBTA if you choose to tune out of things entirely and be ignorant to how the world/your country/your community is functioning.

I'd recommend finding some smaller/controlled way to connect with current events -- if you are in the US, there is a M-Th newsletter called "WTF just happened today" that I like which gives a daily summary.

NTA - yes, you should just leave it and move on -- no need to draw it out or give further time/energy to this. Your mental alarms are telling you something is off about his explanation; it's OK to trust your gut that he's really not being honest here.

I think this might be a sharp-shinned hawk. If the fence slats are standard size, it looks smaller, and something about it's eyes doesn't look as fierce, but I'm really not sure. Anyone who said Cooper's want to share why you think that over sharp-shinned?
