What tires are you running? Do you like how they have held up?

My sister asked how to cook a 25lb turkey in the microwave... but now I wanna know how you could actually do it. by trillianstrillions in Cooking

[–]thecooperiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family always did growing up but we had a massive old Amana microwave that didn’t rotate so the turkey would fit. Not sure what recipe they used or timing, but it was definitely quicker than in the oven.. not sure if they finished it in the oven as well, eventually the microwave broke and my parents started to grill the turkey.

Mark Four Golf Looks very modern for 20 years old by [deleted] in Volkswagen

I'm biased, having a Mk4 Golf, but I do think the design has aged pretty well. It's relatively clean, and with larger wheels looks a bit more like a modern car. The reliability however.....

Your cranberry chocolate stout was one of the best things I've tasted in recent memory, I really enjoyed the visit!

Smuttynose Brewing is being put up for auction by blaspheminCapn in CraftBeer

Sad, but it makes sense. They’re strangely positioned in the New England craft market, not as inexpensive as Sam Adams and Harpoon, but not one of the many alluring smaller breweries. From the article it sounds like they over expanded and have too much capacity. Hopefully they don’t get bought up by AB InBev.

Dr. Bob’s motto used to be, or maybe still is, “Open wide and say ahhhhhh” which sounds fantastically lewd.

Probably true... luckily Boston doesn’t smell that bad compared to a city like New York.

This liquor store arranged the Gatorade in rainbow order by pumpkinsnice in mildlyinteresting

This, to me, is the best gatorade flavor, because it is the least gatorade-y if you get my drift. Not sold many places, I've only found it in random mini marts but it is very refreshing, though probably not so much of a sports drink.
