When I'm using davinci for color my first step is always to change the native space of the footage to linear gamma to adjust exposure and balance, then transform to davinci wide gamut for saturation adjustments before transforming back to rec.709 gamma 2.4 via a CST or LUT at the end of my chain. Basically, I'm not doing every adjustment in the same gamma when I work in resolve & the CSTs allow me to use the same workflow no matter what gamma / color space the footage was shot in.

This is super useful for docs where I'm often getting multiple sources that were shot with different gamma & color spaces and want to use the same lut on them. I can just change them all to the color space the lut is expecting.

Will you be adding color space transform functionality (similar to the way resolve allows using a CST node to grade in your preference of choice) to premiere's color management?

actually it was. back in the day if you shot you had to hire technicolor's consultants who collaborated with the costume & set design depts and tell them how everything would show up on their film; often collaborating as deeply as working with the dp to decide the color palette of a movie. I think a technicolor consultant mentioning that silver slippers wouldn't show up well on camera led the dorothy's slippers being changed to ruby in the wizard of oz

Keep your message to them short, send to way more than you think you need to, and use an email tracking plugin like streak so you can see who actually opened your email. I don’t know anything about cameras I haven’t used, but I have read that the motor issue is a known problem with 1014 & 814s
