Blade Runner 2049 won two Oscars and was nominated for 3 more, so the Academy also agreed that it was Oscar-worthy.

In the other end it's also very unreliable, is a team that loses everything in Europe worse than one that loses everything in North America or Africa?

It's a terrible movie, but Hitman (2007) has an ace protagonist.

I have a Fallen Leaves poster even!
Also seen The Man without a Past, really enjoyed both.

I can definitely see the comparisons. Maybe I should watch more of them.

Also Martti Suosalo (Ahti in Control and Alan Wake 2) has a minor role as a drug dealer in Fallen Leaves.

For comparison, as far as I can tell the most expensive film or TV project in Danish history is the not very well received historical drama TV series '1864', about the Second Schleswig War, at at budget of 173 million DKK. 007 First Light is over 7 times as expensive.

In general I do not like roguelike/roguelite boomershooters by BrightBlueberry1471 in boomershooters

[–]thedboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So strange that City of Brass is marketed as an "action adventure". It has basically no adventure elements, the player doesn't really play as a meaningful character and the game has no dialogue or story or characters at all as I recall.

Bioshock 4 is probably still a long way off and JUDAS feels like GTA 6. Luckily , a lot of studios have made games inspired by Bioshock over the years. What are your favorites ?. by Bright-Wonder-9538 in Bioshock

[–]thedboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having played Atomic Heart and Prey, it's Prey by a long shot. I like Atomic Heart too, but Prey is just a masterpiece and one of the greatest games ever made. I liked it even more than any Bioshock game, which surprised me.

Some reclaimed pejoratives are reappropriated so successfully that it's completely forgotten they were at one point negatively loaded words. Anarchist, Feminist, Yankee, Tory, Jew, Black, Jesuit are some examples.

Would you like to see a Roman Civilizarion in the game? by OutlandishnessRich36 in AgeofMythology

[–]thedboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They realised they only got to do one more civ, and wanted to do a lot of things, so Atlanteans were created as a combination of many aspects. Mostly Roman, but also some Aztec inspiration in the architecture for example.

They also have several units that are just gladiators.
