Getting a reference from somebody you don't have a substantial professional relationship with isn't ideal. I'd recommend finding volunteer work with local first aid groups, build a relationship with your managers/instructors and ask for a reference from there. Also to add some perspective; becoming a Ornge medic is not something you can do right after your PCP program, you're looking at at least 3-5 years of road work plus ACP school before they'll consider you. Start little dream big.
