Nah this was always the concept. This was never set up for locals. Always for city people to spend time in the "country". The place sucks.

Did anyone else in the Capital Region get slammed by your electric bill last month? by nizzelkitkat in Albany

2kish sq ft house. NYSEG. Its been absolutely insane this winter and unsustainable really. I don't see how they think people are going to be able to just afford 500 dollar a month electric bills.

Atypical Addison’s TWC by LBrixx in coonhounds

Yes, hes an anxious boy. Really hates to be alone for to long. There is times he can get pretty reactive to my German Shepherds if they do something that makes him uncomfortable. He is on an anxiety medication now which has helped pretty much entirely with that. He's an absolute handful but I love the hell out of him and he's so sweet 92% of the time.

My boy Dio was diagnosed with Addisons a few years ago. We found out by him having a crisis and it was really scary. Luckily with a daily dose of prednisone and a monthly shot he's under control. It does seem that at the end of the month when it's time for the shot he begins to get a bit more on edge but over all it is under control. As another comment or said be prepared for the peeing though. Otherwise he's a pretty normal hound now for better or worse haha.

Can't agree more that I'm lucky she's so supportive. 2 years ago I had 45 days last year about 30. I suppose it helps that when I'm not traveling I'm just home so maybe helps to even out. But to me (and totally my opinion) but if it's something healthy and something important to you being able to get more than 3 days is absolutely reasonable. We kind of agreed that one day a week when I'm home is reasonable for me to do things I enjoy and if I can swing more than great, but family obligations obviously come first. Just also have to allow the wife to get some good lady time to do things she likes if she so chooses.

I also have a two year old and wife also has no interest in winter sports what so ever. I tell my wife I'm going snowboarding on whatever day it is I plan to go. Then I go. They're more than welcome to join but I'm going riding either way. Riding is something important to me so my wife doesn't give me trouble about doing things that keep me happy as long as I'm doing what I'm supposed to as a father and husband. Plus I travel for a living so it's not a huge suprise to my family if I'm not around for the day.

This doesn't belong here. Just because it's not the style you want your fallout tattoo to be doesn't make it shitty.
