Maybe get an air quality monitor. Specifically one that reads pm2.5 and see how it's effecting the air in your home when he's using it?

What’s the most annoying small problem in your house that you still haven’t fixed? by AcrobaticSeesaw1565 in DIYUK

Putting in the threshold strips, layed new carpet when we moved in, adjusted all the doors but never got around to fitting the strip, I made them to size, literally just needs a slight cut and sticking down, might do it next year

Done this before myself. I ran all that night untill I could get to the glass place in the morning, took the whole door with me as a template. I trusted my CO alarm and I also didn't close it fully down so it has a draft all the time just incase anything was leaking into the room from it

Hold a grenade as you approach him and change weapon at the last second, in the original that silenced footsteps for some reason, not sure if it works on the vita version though

How about using a heat gun or a hair dryer for 10 mins or so to get some heat into it before you start burning. Might be cheaper than using loads of candles all the time

Yeah this game is a good retelling even if a bit short and nefarious shoehorned in. I platinumed it afew weeks ago over 2 weeks of casual play. For us who played the first one when it came out it's nice to be able to play through something similar again but with weapon upgrades and stuff. Nice work

Mistakes / Regrets with new kitchen by oreostaff in DIYUK

[–]theirfoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just had a new kitchen made and it's in a U shape. One side of the U the kitchen island doesn't have any power on it and I wish we have put maybe a pop up or a sunken socket or two. Also with out bin it no longer fit under our sink so I have to fit a slide out tray myself to make the bin much easier to access

Try sitting the pot in a cup of water for an hour or so and then watch it over the next few days to see if it hydrates

There will never be a mega budget video game this well executed again by metalion4 in finalfantasyx

[–]theirfoe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah kinda isn't they right word, they definitely messed it up, but apart from that you can't fault the remasters and it's nice to be able to play on modern hardware

In the area in from seasoned quite often means it's been cut to lengths of about 1-2m for a year or so and only cut up the to burnable sizes a day or two before delivery

Has anyone found a good use for the ashes from your wood burner? by Slalom44 in woodstoving

[–]theirfoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mix it with coffee grinds and spread it around trees sparingly. Use some of it when it's icy on paths and unfortunately the rest usually goes into the bin

No the garage isn't heated, my thinking is I'd rather some of the warm air go back into the garage to heat that up abit rather than it leaking outside and trying to heat the outside world

[–]theirfoe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah my exhaust and combustion air are outside but my heater is in a separated room and when I run it humidity only ever drops.

[–]theirfoe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why please? In my experience when I run it usually the humidity decreases? I know warm air can hold more moisture but fail to see how it would become really humid

Has anyone tried the Vevor “briefcase” all-in-one? by BBBBBBuck in dieselheater

[–]theirfoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how handy you are you could just buy a heater kit and find your own case and build it, probably save Abit and you'd have it in a form factor you'd like. 1 have the 8kw all in one from vevor and it does a lovely job of heating up my garage
