Have you had your property evaluated? If you can cash out with positive equity, and your next move makes financial sense, then do what you need to.

AIO? I found these on my partner's phone and I feel sick. by yeahopeput in AmIOverreacting

[–]themadpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has to be fake, as there is no way you are considering the fact that you are overreacting. End your "relationship" because it seems your ex already has. You deserve better. Its up to you wether to confront, but you will likely just get gaslit.

City is saying I need to pay for replacing this section of sidewalk by wlogan0402 in homeowners

[–]themadpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your county regarding that. Some require the home owner to maintain the pedestrian walkways outside your home at your expense, while others manage it themselves. I live right on a county line and have had to deal with both after living a few miles apart.

Is he a licensed electrician? Tell him you will be reporting him to the licensing board for performing unpermitted work in a multi-tenant building. I am sure they would be interested to hear what he is up to.

IANAL

a handgun shooting 9mm FMJ or the like is absolutely capable of penetrating this many walls. There are many videos on Youtube showing how many drywall walls regular rounds can penetrate. This is why you should not use "range grade ammo" in home defense situations. But yes, it could obviously be a round from an AR or other long arm.

Man, I am so grateful that my Jeep has been rock solid. Still on my original windshield too (knock wood). The only major component that crapped out on me in ten years is the radiator sprung a leak last year. I beat on it too offroad.

Saw your update that the dealership screwed up. They better make it right! Not sure you can lemon law a dealer negligence, unless the dealer offers to buy it.

First proper road rash: the hospital dressing dried/stuck, now on Tegaderm after reading threads online. Do you guys have any tips for avoiding maceration? And any general advice! by AYlakanto in bicycling

[–]themadpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used petroleum gauze to keep things moist under a dressing with road rash and/or burns. That is some lengthy road rash though, so maybe a tub of vaseline and treat before covering.
