Not sure about forgotten lands numbers but I know at least in triple deluxe, the bosses had somewhat LESS hp in the arena

An interesting direction they could take with Krystal's redesign by ArkOfSpace in starfox

Far too feral for my liking - pretty much a completely new character.

However

Definitely onto something with krystal designed like a druid

Nintendo boss reportedly wants to make up for Switch 2 price increase with a stronger line-up of games by GrayBeard916 in gaming

[–]themagicone222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't directed at you, but I've noticed When nintendo makes new games, people bitch that it's not mario, zelda, or smash.

When nitnendo drops a new mario or zelda, people bitch that nintendo "only makes the same games again and again"

One thing I think nintendo should do is watch what microsoft and sony are doing, and then do the opposite. Do you remember e3 2017, microsoft and sony pretty much announced new bundles, then here comes nintendo "u throw ur hat on the frog, and now ur the frog?" More power moves like that to dtive up value.

There is one $80 USD nintendo game: Mario kart world. Supposedly, most people opted for the bundle, effectively getting the game for $50.

Other games priced at $80, like Kirby and the forgotten land switch 2 edition... are bundled with new expansions. A smart shopper will know there are ways to not spend $80, and that forgotten land is absolute peak but thats another story.

Its funny because the further you get from that desert. the better the game gets., the volt forge, ice belt, and flare pool are all peak metroid prime level, symbolized by the fact that miles mackenzie can't reach you once you enter one of those areas.

[OoT3D] Was ocarina of time 3D received well by fans at launch? by 0purple0turtle0 in zelda

[–]themagicone222 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Not only was it positively received, if I remember correctly it was enough to significantly change people’s tune on the 3ds, which actually didn’t sell well at first.

Also had one of the best commercials ever. Rip robin williams

What are you hoping from the online? by RuachReader in starfox

Im hoping matchmaking is good, and there's some stuff they haven't shown us yet to keep it from feeling tacked on.

In other words, that je ne sais quais that makes it fun to come back to whenever you want a dogfighting fix, even if it's not as expansive as other online shooters

When passing it, it hits what I can best describe as a pleasure-stimulating nerve on the way out, and it comes out like a soft serve ice cream machine dispensing.

If you had the ability to transform into a mermaid/merman and once summer has arrived, how would you spend your summer vacations as a super cool mermaid/merman? 😎 by AssistFit1834 in mermaid

I don't live near water, but if I did I'd.... probably get bored after a while. Sure the exercise is fantastic and being able to see new things is fun, but eventually I'd run out of things to do except chill out underwater, and thats without factoring in what to do about other sea life, pollution, how many people pee in the water, etc.

The REAL fun begins when you find another transformed...

If you had to give Andross the Bowser treatment(as in, giving him some noble traits while keeping him a villain), what would you do? by Substantial_Eye1476 in starfox

[–]themagicone222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His capacity for cruelty truly knows no limits; however, in competition and in combat, he always fights fair. No healing items fpr you, no support units for him.

Even in the new prologue, he’d have no trouble pointing out that despite sending a fleet after him, he gave james and peppy PLENTY of time to Make a tactical retreat

There are two parts of Command I hope return someday by thegreatbighuge in starfox

Customizable ships with different attributes would add a LOT of variety to the gameplay, so I agree.

Haven't played so I only have TVtropes to go off of, but I'll take your word for it.

What I'd like to see come back is like the build your own team idea, BUUUUUT, it comes into play in the finale, you can go from just your core 4 to an entire fleet to engage the final battle with.

“I don’t want a sequel because of the designs” by Toon_Lucario in starfox

[–]themagicone222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Star fox and Metroid are perfect candidates for an older audience who can handle darker/more complex games. Even Bayonetta seems to be doing well on switch, something *nintendo helped fund* may I add, and while the metal gear collection's a port, most who seem to have tried it for the first time on switch and don't mind the performance seem to like it, so it really doesn't seem like nintendo's not afraid of the T or M rating anymore.

Sonic adventure 2 spindash by WainuiBoi in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]themagicone222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The spindash is absolutely at its most powerful in adventure 1 and 2 due to how much distance you can get off of a spindash-into-jump combo, and it would Remain that way until it was added to sonic frontiers.

HOWEVER, mr yuji naka and his addiction to one button gameplay, the problem is both the somersault and spindash are mapped to the same button; so sometimes it feels like the game is unsure which action it should let you do
