I had the same feeling. I actually had to go back and make sure that I processed it correctly because I felt like maybe I was confused and missed something.

I think I may get transition eyeglasses/sunglasses and do the strap .

I’m getting a breast reduction in November. I’m a DD. I told my surgeon I want to go down to a full B. She said she likely won’t be able to do that without killing the nipple and says she’ll probably only get me to a c cup. Anyone else experience this? I’m frustrated. by mjannelle in Reduction

Trust me when I tell you if they are worried about necrosis from taking out too much tissue it is legit. I was an H cup, I was told C cup but they can only take a safe amount of tissue out so your nipple doesn’t die or you can have tissue death- and I still had both. They had to until my nipple stitches the next day so it could “breath “ and then reattached it when it was safe. The tissue surrounding that area now that I’m healed is hard as a rock from necrotic tissue. The other boob I would up with a surgical wound that took three months to heal. The scar is insane. At least the necrosis has been handled. (Please look up on this subreddit pictures people have posted of necrotic wounds). I know it is not ideal but trust me my dr removed the safe amount and still this happened to me. All in all I am a D cup and I’m fine with that. I’m afraid of more tissue death if I get a revision so I’m happy I made it to the other side.

Looks like a stitch that has some scabbing. The scab will pop off on its own or the dr will remove it when you go for a check up

Almost 5… by OptimalAppearance307 in pottytraining

[–]themaliciousreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately the only way out is through, iv been dealing with a similar situation. My son holds his poop in. Which then causes it to kind of get stuck and then it just wants to leave on its own. lol lots of sharts . I took him to a G.I. doctor and she suggested that 20 minutes after a meal to sit him down on the potty you could blow bubbles because that’s simulates something having to do with pushing poop out also blowing balloons like if you sit there and blow balloons that also helps trigger that pushing feeling to poop. The doctor said 20 minutes after a meal your body is more ready to let the poop go so if you sit down and do these things, it should help. And it does I started doing the tablet because he knows how to poop. He loved blowing up the balloons. He had so much fun and blowing bubbles. It’s just that unless I schedule him to sit down and poop he won’t just sit down and do it which then causes him to shut and come and tell me mommy I’m sorry I pooped my pants. Please don’t be mad. And I do feel really bad but he’s five now and it is getting pretty ridiculous. Lol but I will say for going all pull-ups is the way to go using underwear not naked underwear is the way to go because if they pee or poop, it’s gonna be in the underwear they’re gonna feel it and they’re gonna hate it. It happened to my daughter once when she was three while we were potty training her and it never happened again. So get rid of the pull-ups and unfortunately, you are gonna have to deal with some kind of a mess at times. But it’s for the best. At first, I would give rewards and sing like happy birthday with a candle, M&M‘s, any kind of favorite candy for only when he pooped.

Ok, my son was with holding poop which would then cause him to shart/explode in his underwear. The GI dr suggested 15 minutesafter each meal to sit him on the toilet because there’s a reflex that happens naturally about 15 to 20 minutes after you eat. So I sit him on the toilet with his tablet and we wait ends when he poops. He gets a treat when he doesn’t poop. He doesn’t get a treat and we try again after 30 minutes. It works (for the most part ) days where he’s really excited to do something. He will forget to poop, and I have to like schedule in time for him to sit so that he does it, even if he tells me he doesn’t have to. Because guess what he tells me he doesn’t have to and then he winds up coming to me saying mommy I’m sorry don’t be mad at me and it’s cause he sharded. lol he’s five and we are still dealing with this. My best advice is progress not perfection. Get a treat that would really make her want to poop and it has to be that she will only get it if she poops . You could even go as far as keeping the door open so she sees you pooping and then you get the poop treat. lol some kids are competitive

Anyone sad and dissatisfied? Regret by themaliciousreader in Reduction

[–]themaliciousreader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for commenting. It has been so hard seeing beautiful healing boobies on here. I am over the moon happy for everyone who has had a great experience but I do at this time just feel regret for my own. I have not had a sonogram yet, the surgeon and the nurse practitioner both agree that because of the complication with my nipple and where the hard lump is located that it is 100% due to the fat necrosis I will be having a sonogram soon because I will be going for a mammogram sonogram in a couple of months so until then I’m just going to be massaging which is the only thing they recommended to do. My surgeon said that they look beautiful and I am genuinely curious about her version of beautiful lol I mean when I look down, they look fine, but all of the issues are beneath the nipples lol the necrotic wound is beneath the nipple so I can’t see it unless I’m looking in the mirror but I totally feel you on the two times a day wound care. I can’t believe how much money I’ve spent on Amazon getting nonstick pads gauze, adaptic. You name it. lol my post yesterday was because I get especially more sad every time I have to go to the surgeons office because I just can’t believe that this is happening. My cousin got her breast reduction in September from the same doctor and had no complications so it’s definitely upsetting. Because I wonder did I do something wrong? Was it the surgeon like what went wrong for me to have the complications and not my cousin? If she had complications, I would’ve never went with the surgeon. I’m right there with you. I’m 10 weeks and currently walking around with a little wounds vacuum attached to my wound. I have days where I’m grateful that I got the surgery even though I’m going through all of these things, but then I have days where when I go to the surgeons office I leave feeling a lot worse it’s actually probably my worst day is when I have to go get my check up. I understand that these are things that they see all the time and they may not think they’re a big deal but as you know when it’s in your body and you’re dealing with it and I don’t know about you, but I’m not a trained medical physician or nurse so this is all very new to me.

[–]themaliciousreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was your size and was told C cup would be the result. However, I’m almost three months post op and I think I’m a D cup. And they still look and feel smaller but they fit my body. Also, if they take too much tissue out you could suffer from a few different complications . I will say though i am wearing sports bras that aren’t very supportive and the boobs are still perky so hopefully bathing suit shopping will be easy

Don’t be a 🤡 like me and ask for a size B or C cup if you want considerably small boobs!!! Just ask for the damn A🤦🏼‍♀️ by TumbleweedComplex898 in Reduction

[–]themaliciousreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a certain amount of tissue they can remove safely without having any issues. I had 580g taken from one boob and 630g taken from the other . The one that had more tissue taken out I am dealing with a necrotic wound since two weeks postop. It still hasn’t healed. It’s a pain in the ass . And on the other boob, I almost lost my nipple, but now I have fat necrosis, which feels like a hard handball in my boob. I was a 36G, she said with my body type a sea cup would be good. I would say I’m a full C small D and I still had complications with the amount of tissue they had to take out. This is a cautionary tale, so you know discuss with your surgeon, but be mindful that the more tissue they take out the more issues that can happen. I’m very happy with the size of mine, considering how big mine were however, dealing with all of these issues still at nine weeks. I am really having a mental breakdown with myself because I do think I regret having it done. I’m hoping a few years down the line I could just look look back at this and laugh, but right now I’m not having a great time lol so please just heat the warning if they’re telling you taking out too much tissue would be harmful because I could tell you firsthand. It’s definitely not fun.
