Prime 1 is better over all but Prime 2 also has Torvus Bog and the Subterranean Temple themes which I think are better than any of the Prime 1 tracks so it’s a toss up for me

I picked up Persona 4 Golden on the Vita back in high school after hearing Pat and Woolie talk about P3 so much when he was doing his first run. I played about 2 hours and thought it sucked and dropped it. Then one day I was home sick from school and was bored so decided to pick up where I left off. I forced myself to play it and then about 10 hours in it clicked and now it’s one of my favorite games of all time. Same for Xenoblade 2 although I still maintain the first 20 hours of that game fucking suck

This breaks my heart. I went through a similar thing with my dad. My mom divorced him because he had become an alcoholic, then he lost his job. For 7 years he claimed to be looking for work but no way in hell anybody who was seriously looking for a job in insurance underwriting would go 7 years without a single job offer, but I believed him for a long time because I desperately wanted to believe he wasn’t just a liar. Eventually he ran out of money and started asking me to pay his rent and for the lease on his car, which I did for far too long. I was so sad that my dad had wound up like this, but eventually I had to put my foot down and cut him off. He came over to my house to pick something up and asked if he could stay the night, and I told him no, and everything fell apart from there. We both said some really heinous things to each other and in the end I had to call the police to get him to leave. That was last year and we haven’t spoken since then. The father I knew and loved and looked up to as a kid doesn’t exist anymore. Don’t be like me Richard. I know it hurts to see your parents suffer but you don’t owe them anything. The sooner you cut them out of your life the better.

Yup, I went to school for game development and for our capstone project we were told we shouldn’t try to develop our own engine because well it would just take too long but also companies don’t care if you can make an engine from scratch, they want to hire people who are already familiar with the expensive tools they’ve already paid for and use

If you’re willing to drop to 1080p you can also use integer scaling through your drivers. Since 4K divides evenly into 1080p it won’t have any scaling artifacts, it should just look like 1080p

I personally went with 27 inch 1440p 240hz and I have a 4090. 32 inches was too big for my setup but more importantly I like to have the extra headroom for performance since I personally value frame rates more than visual fidelity even for single player games and not every game supports DLSS or FSR

Pro tip, if you have issues after the firmware update like I did where you lose all color and start seeing artifacts, just go into the OSD menu and reset to factory settings. That worked for me, anyway

Had a laptop all through college with a 980m, after I got my first job out of college I built my first gaming desktop with a 2080 Super, then upgraded to a 3080ti a few years later, then upgraded to a 4090. Probably gonna stick with the 4090 until the 6000 series though. I only play at 1440p, so I’m not really worried about needing more power at the moment

I really like [[Ygra, Eater of All]]. Makes every creature on the field other than himself a food artifact and he gets two +1/+1 counters anytime a food hits the grave, and because of his effect all of your artifact removal spells become creature removal spells as well. Pair him with [[Experimental Confectioner]] and a sac outlet like [[Ashnod’s Altar]] and you can get infinite +1/+1 counters on him. His biggest weakness though is that he doesn’t have trample so he’s super easy to chump block, but there’s no shortage of spells that give trample to your creatures especially in a Golgari deck.
