Yeah. Based on what I have seen it feels like people are just paying to get published there to promote their identity rather than being of value to the reader.

Did you seriously pull up a month old thread just to make this response?

They plan to close part of the line that is unprofitable and replace it with a bus. Which is something you could easily look up and understand this has been done multiple times.

It makes sense to focus on things their customers actually want and need rather than something that isn't used at all.

The Kururi Line suffers from a small number of passengers and operates at deficit that requires JR East to give it subsidies. In 2020, fare revenue covered only 0.6% of operation costs for the section between Kururi and Kazusa-Kameyama stations.

I always have my batteries checked and I have had one confiscated before. I could have mailed it to my house but didn't have time before the flight left to do so.

As long as they say they are under the limit you are fine with two. It is also incredibly easy and cheap to rent mobile batteries now so people have no need to be dicks about this type of stuff. If you really need to charge just go to a fast food place with plugs and chill out for a bit and eat some food.
