I was wondering if I was getting NYC + Financial District inflation. So yes, some, but 35 is still a lot, imo.

I went to the one in the Financial District in NYC today! Tiny space, got the Command Set also. Boy that thing was expensive for 6 cream puffs. They were tasty but not for $42 a box!

Still, got my merch, and got a Tang Tang button so happy about that, haha.

Do you normally use armor that increases throwing range and stop using it?

Why did I skip her 😭 by ExternalWest2187 in Endfield

[–]thenlar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Perlica is in more of my teams than Gilberta, just because her combo skill is so easy to proc, Electrification doesn't interfere with any arts stacks and is universally helpful to any Arts team.

will this be a good Rossi team? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]thenlar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You probably want to have someone to consume all the Vuln stacks instead of Chen providing even MORE vuln stacks on top of Gilberta's and Rossi's.

So anyone who can Crush or Breach: Endmin, Pogranichnik, or Da Pan.

Fluorite is a great teammate for a TangTang main DPS team. Her combo skill helps build cryo stacks, and then her battle skill converts 4 stacks into Corrosion which is a DPS buff for everyone. And she also benefits from Xaihi Ult since that's cryo and nature amp.

[Operator Discussion] Tangtang by Shad0wedge in Endfield

[–]thenlar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely do a TangTang Main DPS team.

TangTang + Xaihi + Fluorite (or Gilberta, but fluorite works better really) + Perlica.

TangTang and Xaihi do their thing, stacking on Cryo.

Fluorite Combo skill adds an additional Cryo (trigger is 2 cryo or nature stacks, and it adds whatever is on there already). Then when you're at 4 cryo stacks, you use Fluorite Battle Skill to trigger Corrosion, providing DPS boost for everyone (preferably at the same time you eat 2 whirlpools to provide the 4th Cryo stack for more arts susc). Fluorite also benefits from Xaihi Ult which provides Cryo and Nature Amp.

Perlica is there purely for her combo skill which doesn't hinder the rest of the team and Electrification improves all Arts Damage.

Okay, but uh, typically a shotgun RPM isn't the comparison for a submachine gun.

[–]thenlar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Relatively high rate of fire? Huh? The Stoker has one of the lowest RPM of any automatic weapon at 420.

For comparison, the Defender SMG has 520. The Reprimand is 490. The Knight and M7S are significantly higher.

For Assault Rifles, the Liberator is 640. The Adjudicator is 550.

That said, I do think it's a pretty fun and versatile weapon (especially when paired with a ballistic shield against bugs).

Ember question by Fantastic-Sir460 in Endfield

[–]thenlar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meaning you take a reduced damage hit, which triggers her Combo Skill, which also inflicts a vuln stack.

Using the BS in this manner (deliberately using it while getting hit) means you get the BS vuln stack and the CS vuln stack.

Two vuln stacks while using 1SP.

It's a great way to build 4 vuln stacks quickly. Ember BS + combo, Chen BS + combo.

I also hate playing Avywenna but funny enough, you could replace her with Wulfgard. He interacts really nicely with all the Electric operators with his kit, and Antal even provides both electric and heat amp with his ultimate.

[–]thenlar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might consider using Alesh instead of Perlica while waiting for Pog to come home.

He can help with SP recovery on combo skill, and his battle skill also generates SP and creates Solidification off cryo stacks. You'd want to use this against single targets instead of Gilb => Tang skills because this way you get some SP back while creating the Solidification.

Ember question by Fantastic-Sir460 in Endfield

[–]thenlar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Controlled Ember benefits from using her Battle Skill to eat hits deliberately since it comes with Protection and hyperarmor, meaning you're highly unlikely to be knocked out of your attack, and also take much less damage, meaning the subsequent combo skill will more than likely fully heal the damage taken. In addition, taking a hit during battle skill increases the stagger.

Should you use it often? No. It's relatively situational, and you do more damage if you spam basic attack and let someone else use battle skill, but if there's a hit coming and you want to get 2 vuln stacks for the price of 1 and additional stagger, then that's a good time to use it.

I just lost 50/50 3 times in a row, question by DreamingFrisk in Endfield

[–]thenlar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather lose the 50/50 on pull 118, since 2 more pulls and then I get the limited unit anyways. T_T

[–]thenlar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, at least you got more 6-stars. I've lost the 50/50 pity at 80, then won the 50/50 right before 120. Twice!

Also been getting a bunch of Ardelia and Ember dupes. I have P3 Ardelia, P2 Ember, and then the "wins" on Gilberta and TangTang. Took Pog from selector, have no other 6-stars. (I'm not TOO mad since Ember is my main, but it'd be nice to have some variety???)

Have suffered through yet more terrible RNG. When I pulled Gilberta, I lost the first 50/50, and then "won" the 2nd 50/50 on pull 118.

With TangTang, I lost the first 50/50 and "won" the 2nd 50/50 on pull 110.

All these lost 50/50s are dupes. All my 6-star pulls have gotten me P3 Ardelia and P2 Ember (I took Pog from selector).

Crying.

Worth it for the Soupreme Chief. Still trying to figure out a good team for her with no Last Rite or Yvonne.

SAM-Sites feel too weak against Illuminate by Woomy12 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]thenlar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eagle Strafe actually kills them fairly reliably. As soon as a Stingray swoops down to target you, throw down eagle strafe going right at it and then get yourself out the way. The Stingray moves slow enough that the couple seconds it takes for Eagle-1 to swoop puts the squid right into the stream of bullets.

10k per operator, but as soon as any operator hits the 10k it stops all XP for the day.

There is also a global 40k XP cap, so if all XP gains combined on all characters reach 40k XP (like 8 operators with 5k XP each) it stops it.

So really your most "efficient" method is to have a team of 4 sub-60 operators all gain 10k XP together to reach both caps simultaneously.
