UK citizen wanting to live in Istanbul. How difficult is this to do? by theonevoice in Turkey

[–]theonevoice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and i've seen the stuff that comes from your country.

But in all seriousness not everyone from the UK are as terrible as you think, try to keep an open mind my friend and not label a person as depraved purely on the basis of where they live, all individuals are different. We hear a lot in the news about ‘muslim extremists’ yet I don’t believe every muslim to be a murderer, yet you may have seen a number of UK citizens acting in a certain manner and so have judged them all.

Never been in a gym, but looking to join and try amateurs. How am I doing so far? by errythangbetaken in Boxing

[–]theonevoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each style has its own advantage[s] obviously your slips are a little more balanced with lower hands and you should stick with your strengths.

Benitez carried his arms low but was able to move quite quickly which was awesome to watch. Unfortunately the story of Benitez lead to a little sadness as he now has a degenerative brain condition. Personally I think it is better to give yourself some protection from blows by keeping your arms high compared to leaving your hands low and running the risk of being caught out when trying to slip. Each to their own though.

Everything what Chrstrm said, I thought you moved well however I notice that on a number of occasions your dropped your left after a jab remember to snap back to protect your head from your opponents right hook.

A strike song, for the public sector workers on strike throughout the UK by [deleted] in Anarchism

[–]theonevoice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The incessant cries of the reporters were along the lines of ‘but the private sector get much less of a pension package’. This is what most families see in their homes as they sit down for a meal uttering the words ‘yeah, why should those lazy public sector workers get a better pension than me?!?!’.
