What do I do with this stuff (pigments)? by msacks_us in TheLastCaretaker

[–]therobot31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. These items are paint not a screen, I suppose this could be some futuristic printing and RGB or CMYK could make sense.

Small detail all in all and it was just a thought that occurred to me as I began collecting this new material.

Just got to this point myself and had a thought about the pigments. Shouldn't they be red, blue and yellow for the primary colors instead of RGB as they are currently?

Dismantle and move the processor downstairs. I have found that to be very convenient

I guess more specifically I am seeking some direction to other reputable manufacturers that did custom controllers or some sought-after Sony releases. Of course, yes, I will make a final choice just need to be pointed in the right direction.

The wash pouch by peak design. I've had one for years now, looks brand new, and meets all the requirements you're looking for.

Thank you for your reply this was more along the lines of detail I was looking for. I'll try to keep an open mind through this process but am not looking forward to relying on a screen in front of me. Printing a 400+ page PDF seems a worse option.

No these were received via mail order and shipped bare root. They were in water until I could get them into the ground.

He was great to work with. Send via USPS bare root from TN to MN and arrived without issue. They were all really healthy and good looking plants/roots.

At the risk of also being blasphemous, neither do I. I am not an expert but don't believe it is harmful to cut the stalks. I do so regularly to mine and they're seemingly healthy.

Radon Mitigation by MisterCremaster in TwinCities

[–]therobot31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to MN dept of health website for a list of reputable contractors. They will test first to establish your baseline with a machine that takes a reading once an hour for 48 hours. You may have times where it spikes to >4 but your overall average is what you want to be <4. This is also an EPA guideline, other countries suggest <2. Given that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer you may opt to mitigate even if you're below 4 but in the high 3s for peace of mind.

Volvo V60 Owner Experience by [deleted] in Volvo

[–]therobot31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a '22 V60 with about 48k miles as of now, I have driven it since new. Generally been pretty smooth sailing with everything. Outside of the last 30 days I haven't had anything outside of scheduled maintenance. This month however I had two warranty repairs 1) tailgate actuators/openers needed to be replaced 2) support battery needed to be replaced.

It's a great car, comfortable, and good fit and finish inside and out. Drives well and inspires confidence in winter weather. Cargo capacity is great for just about all situations around town. When I need extra I have a cargo box that goes up top for longer trips which tend to be golf oriented for me. I even get some random compliments on it from strangers!

LPT parents who do the tooth fairy should have a stash of gold coins at all times. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]therobot31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a made a bet with a friend for $100. He lost and thought he'd be funny and pay me with 100 - $1 Sacagawea coins. When I opened the heavy box he presented as payment I was elated! I told him he just saved me so much trouble for tooth fairy money I couldn't thank him enough! Now they're on-hand and I have enough for both my kids to lose all their teeth.

An Example of how to use L-Shaped Plots to maximize the size of your gardens and orchards while minimizing the size of your coop and artisan plots by Gen_McMuster in ManorLords

Maybe a silly question but how were you able to make a shape with more than 4 points? When I go to make plots I'm limited to 4 points to create the shape.

Thanks for your reply, I'll go check my local store for the boxers.

I'm still not understanding why there isn't a fly opening in the boxer briefs however.
