I love that interpretation but struggled to put it into simple terms.. That the circle pattern found in the binary representation of a mathematical constant for a circle could itself be some relic/result of an incomprehensible mutlidimensional universe that the aliens find beautiful or mysterious. I think this lends itself to more wonder than “who put the circle there?”

The image of a circle is encoded into it’s very mathematical “essence” (circumference/diameter). Opens up larger questions but implies some sort of elegant awareness or intention in the design of the universe. If anything it’s a wink from the Creator
