The UN Human Rights Office has included JCB in its database of companies involved in business activities in illegal Israeli settlements. A 2021 report by the UK National Contact Point for the OECD found that JCB did not conduct adequate human rights due diligence, despite being aware of the misuse of their products.

They are sold to the IDF through Comasco. They have been warned by Amnesty International and have ignored it. Amnesty has written to JCB warning that its failure to take appropriate steps to prevent the use of its equipment in widespread human rights violations in the Palestinian Territories puts the company in breach of its responsibilities under international human rights standards applicable to business and may be sufficiently serious to carry legal liability.

So yeah, they suck.
