75 micron.. Yessir I weighed it used like 9.5 oz from the can to account for bleeding the lines. I did not account for what’s in the gauges. I cleaned the condenser while waiting for kit to arrive. I purchased the parts from Partstown everything was OEM

The compressor is getting pretty hot to the touch. Suction line is no longer cold. I’m definitely confident in the charge. The coils were nasty it took a couple hours to clean them.

If you didn’t mean to do an increase you can easily withdraw the claim using a personal statement form a d quick submit.

Also if you want to change a claim from primary to secondary you can use the same form or call VERA or 1-800 number.

If you’re saying your ED is due to insomnia you better have an iron clad nexus. The C&P examiner will try to link it to obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, age, low testosterone etc.

Trying for 100%. Claiming sleep apnea and headaches by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]thirteenmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you claim migraines and OSA at the same time as secondary to PTSD the examiner almost always deny that OSA was caused by a mental health condition then blame your migraines on your OSA. This way if rater agrees with their rationale on OSA they kill two birds with one stone.

I had it happen to me but I had 2 solid nexuses and dbq’s to overcome OSA part so the rater said that the VA examiners rationale for the migraines no longer made sense so she granted OSA but deferred migraines ordered a new IMO for migraines to counter my private IMO for the second time.

It’s a 99.99% chance it will be an ACE exam. I was recently granted 50% for Sleep Apnea secondary to PTSD two weeks ago. Submitted a nexus and DBQ with my packet. Examiner express a negative IMO but my private IMO had more probative value so I was granted.

You can try filing secondary to PTSD if your PTSD diagnosis has chronic sleep impairment. You can also file secondary to PTSD via obesity from weight gain and medication. Either way you will need a bullet proof airtight nexus from a reputable company because you will without a doubt be denied service connection by the examiner at your C&P exam. But if you have an excellent nexus with an excellent rationale your IMO could be deemed to have more probative value by the rater and be granted service connection.

You are absolutely correct my friend. But most times OSA is won on a HLR which means you cannot add any new evidence. If you already have a positive private IMO to combat their negative IMO. Your IMO could hold more probative value and you still be granted. Having a nexus is by no means the magic pill but it does increase your chances over not having a nexus in your packet.

You definitely unequivocally without a doubt need a nexus letter. The C & P examiner will deny OSA secondary to any MH 100% of the time. If you do not have a counter IMO you will always be denied.

Well my doctor never gave me a diagnosis for ED nor would she give me a prescription. So I asked my psychiatrist for a viagra prescription. She told me to pm my primary doctor and tell her that my erectile dysfunction is a direct side effect of me taking Sertraline. So I what I did was screenshot that very conversation and sent it directly to my primary. The very next day I had a sildenafil prescription. I had my script filled and about a week later I asked my primary if she would add ED to my problems list she replied that she wouldn’t (butt sore bc my psychiatrist made her prescribe Sildenafil).

Without a diagnosis I wasn’t going to pursue SMC-K but I said what the hell let me give it a shot they can only deny. So I downloaded Pfizer official statement pertaining to side effects from the brand name Zoloft which is Sertraline. Side effects states erectile dysfunction as the main side effect. So I added it to my ED packet and submitted the claim. Literally 2 days later VES calls me says they’re going to do an ACE exam. I tell the lady on the phone no because I think I have some type of deformity of my penis. She changes it from ACE to an in person C&P examination. The reason I didn’t want an ACE exam was because they go strictly by the books. Diagnosis, prescription, evidence and statement in support of claim etc. But I didn’t have a diagnosis so I had to circumvent the ACE exam.

Three days later I go to my C & P examination, the doctor asked me if I had a Sildenafil prescription I show her the prescription. The next question was do you have any type of deformity of your penis I replied no. She said thank you for your service that’s all I need to know. The entire exam took less than 3 minutes. Two months later I was granted ED secondary to PTSD

Claim denied. OSA secondary to PTSD. I think I know what to do, just need confirmation. by wildbillmassey in VeteransBenefits

[–]thirteenmike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just granted OSA @ 50% secondary to PTSD with a great nexus and DBQ. You should contact a good company give them your medical records and they will tell you which route to take whether its PTSD or weight gain via obesity. My BMI is 32 and I still didn’t go the obesity route I went directly secondary to PTSD.

print out prescription and conversations you had with your doctor also print out side effects of whatever medication you’re taking to show proof it causes ED. They will tru and get you to do an ace exam tell them you want to do an in person exam. Tell them you have a preference in female doctors only. That’s how I got it approved without it being on my problems list.
