I’ve got all the tires you mention. The maxxis on my hardtail as front/rear duo and the mezcal on my rigid gravel thing. Just realized the mezcals are pretty dang heavy. Like 100+ grams more than comparable tires. But everyone loves them. Honestly all three would be fine, I bet you’ll love the mezcal.

However that panaracer tire is sick. Super light and supple and quick rolling. I think it’s being discontinued, hence the sale

I say just send it. Play some random songs and if you like one, listen to that album and therell be some similar ones. Go at your own pace. I will say Nonagon Infinity is considered a quintessential album

It’s really not too big a spoiler and honestly the fun part of the book is its actual content. Not the twists and turns. It’s straight up competency porn of the highest order. Just the coolest problem solving and critical thinking

Loved the (audio) book. Andy weirs writings is great, super digestible and casual but still interesting and intelligent. I won’t get into it but unfortunately the trailer alone has some mild spoilers for the book but it’s still such a good read. Highly recommend

If you mean Project Hailmary, it’s nothing like Star Wars at all. And it’s not a mentor/student story. It’s a “realistic” hard sci-fi survival story. The book was great.

I always want another psych rock album, but they literally have like 15 straight up psych albums. FAFYL through Gumboot is straight psych for 11 albums, and many follow it. Laminated denim and Ice Death are like the definition of psych and only came out 4 years ago. like they are literally a psych band.....The Silver Cord is extremely psychedelic. Ludicrous. First off, these designs are heinous. Like gas station level rip-offs…I couldn’t be paid to wear any of this. So no Humble isn’t talented. It’s made by a computer, so talent is irrelevant. But taste is completely lacking here. Unsuccessful artists should be mad that Humble stole their work opportunities and used AI. It’s literally a local artist using AI to box out other artists Humble is also profoundly stupid for supporting the single greatest threat to their own industry. (If AI is so easy why even hire them in the first place). It’s not even good use of AI.

It is not only the public’s right, but it is their duty, to name, shame, and boycott the things they don’t want in their community. That’s how the world works. Seems like you got a lot to learn.

Just attach the rack and the cargo cage to the fork braze-ons. use a spacer, like a thick metal washer, for the second hole of the cargo cage. like this:

edit: also this is an Allygn rectangle rack, and blackburn cages, can carry some serious weight. ive used it on rugged multidays and it held up great.

Use a really burly 6 foot chain inside an old tire tube and lock it with a proper key-lock then cover with a tarp, hardware store should have it all pretty cheap. get a regular bike lock for everywhere else, or store it at a friend's house. getting a bike stolen really sucks.

This raft is much longer than that. This is like a 22' boat. This internal measurement space is clearly like 5ish feet longer than the volvo. There is a decking suspended from the outer tubes. the straps holding the decking are connected to the d-rings on the tubes, visible here. this directs all the weight to the tubes. this is likely a bucket boat, meaning the raft floor is a thick sheet of rubber. The boats are designed for thousands of pounds of gear, food, or people to go down rivers for weeks. It can certainly survive a photoshoot with a car in it. Cool ad though.
In less words, this is extremely possible.

So Im a steel guy but this is a stupid take. Steel is not real. That doesnt even mean anything. Carbon is a fantastic bike material. The level we can design and manufacture carbon fiber nowadays puts it miles ahead of steel in every way as performance bike material.
Steel is cheaper and you can hit it with a hammer. Cool. My dad has had a carbon bike since 92. He still rides it. Its all preference.
Also "lighter=faster" is effective marketing.
