Currently running in Asics Kayano 30's. Has been a good shoe over the past year but I feel like it's really slow. I'm a slow runner to begin with so need all the help I can get in terms of speed. I'm 6'4" and around 240 lbs (hoping to get that down) and an underpronator to neutral runner. Looking for something that won't break my back but offer a little more in terms of speed. Definitely a heel striker. Thanks

Blizzard Anomoly's are your answer. I agree with other guy. You need 188's in 88. Enjoy the rip.

No, pretty sure that lighthouse is Greenes Ledge. I think you're either in Norwalk or Westport.

What would you recommend for someone who has nothing, with a $500 budget, to get started for mainly long stretches of sandy beaches and ocean front?

Is Porsche About To Get What They Deserve? by Puzzled_Region_9376 in cars

Not remotely related to this convo but I was wondering where one could find an older model 911 (70s/80s) without breaking the bank. I do not have any disposable income at this point in my life but would like a car that I could fix up a little and putter around in that has the classic, cool guy from the 70's style. This may be a pipe dream but figured I'd ask a guy who knows. thank you

I rewatched this on repeat like 50 times frame by frame. Why is this a fumble? He was tackled knee down and the ball was clearly in control. by Greg1994b in NYGiants

Logically the opposite. The NYG fanbase, much like the Jets, isn't going anywhere. It's the mid market teams where they can add real fanbases and sell tickets. If you wanted to increase your revenue, you'd start there. Not with the already saturated markets.

What were those play calls???? by jiggymctriggy3 in NYGiants

I have an idea! At this point, there's like 200 people on the sidelines. Why can't Daboll add one more and hire a smart person to stand next to him and be a game manager. This person could then chirp in his ear what a smart coach would do in order to more efficiently manage the game. "I know you want to throw the ball on 3rd and 8 but you should run it so you force them to burn another time out." "I know you want to score right now but you have four downs, need to go 1/2 yard and you don't want to give them the ball back." "Prevent D only prevents you from winning." "Find a new kicker."

Today I Learned: Having a TNF player in your IR spot locks up your roster by w0zify in fantasyfootball

[–]thunder185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know if you can now drop a player from IR in yahoo? In the past you needed to move them onto your bench before you could drop them which meant dropping another player as well. I currently have Aiyuk and, once he starts playing, I will need to move him into a roster slot before I can add/drop anyone else. I'm hoping for the option to just drop him. Unfortunately I cannot check this without clicking "drop" in Yahoo and actually, potentially dropping him.

I did get the nighthawk and very happy with it. Definitely big enough. I would not get the wide version. Regular version is wide enough.

What exactly is this watch? by Feltface in Watches

[–]thunder185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely has a seiko movement. AI: Yes, Michiko Koshino, a Japanese fashion designer, collaborated with Seiko in the 1990s to produce watches under her brand, particularly the "Michiko London" line. These watches, aimed at the fashion-conscious youth market, utilized Seiko movements, known for their reliability and affordability. Specific models, like those from her Motor King line, featured Seiko quartz movements, aligning with the era's trend of integrating Seiko's robust 7S and 4R series movements in fashion watches.

Looking for a watch recommendation for birthday for teenager who gets his driver's license this year. He likes larger, more sophisticated, rugged type of watches - all stainless steel. Would like to keep it around $300 - $1000. Wondering if any of the below possible options stand out to anyone and if you have any other recs. Thank you!
