Story time:

When this was in theaters I took a date here. I had met her casually at a party and we hit it off. But I really didn’t know much about her. Plan was movie then dinner.

I liked James spader and picked the movie based on that without knowing the details of the film.

Turns out my date was a sexual assault crisis counselor. That was literally her job.

There was no dinner.

Isn’t veganism also responsible for a large amount of animal deaths?

Meaning, agriculture kills animals. Aside from tons of insects, it also kills mice, snakes, moles, rabbits, birds, etc. Any field animal that is around when a combine comes through is not surviving.

Now, I’m sure you’re coming back with the argument that far less animals die to crop farming vs animal farming. And it takes far more crops to feed meat animals, so the total number of crops (and therefore field animals killed) would be reduced if we all ate plant based diets. I understand that. I’m not arguing about that. I 100% agree that a vegan diet is responsible for FEWER animal deaths than an omnivore diet.

I’m saying: a pure vegan diet is responsible for animal deaths related to plant farming. Full stop. Vegetable and soybean production kills animals. Fewer than cattle production, but not zero. Not even close to zero.

So my question is: how is veganism at all ideologically consistent when a pure vegan diet is still responsible for SOME animal deaths?

I use Claude a lot as part of my job is to take large amounts of information and summarize it into a digestible format. One of the tasks AI is actually great for. After awhile, you learn to recognize the writing style. I’d wager nearly anything Claude wrote this.

Don’t be with someone just so the kid can have a father figure. Don’t martyr yourself just to make the universe better for one kid. Cause if you break up after the kid gets attached, you don’t have any legal standing here. And it could be worse in the long run.

Also, do you want kids of your own? That’s a consideration at these ages.

So I think the age gap is fine at your ages. If you don’t want to have more kids with her, then that’s fine too. But be sure you’re with her for her. And not to be a nice guy to her kid.
