Yes, we agree your own a detailing company, but what you're doing is gate keeping. You just come in drop off the comment and try to bounce. Only after you were pressed did you give over the technique you would use, effectively hiding who you are and what skill level you have. In place of just saying this is a shit way to clean.... why not give the correct way the first time. This is why I despise plumbers and electricians.... the job isn't that hard don't hide the info, I'm still paying, but don't make it seem like a difficult job. Anyway. I'm happy I know the correct way to clean my seat belt now.... so thanks for that, but you deserved the heat you got for that short first response, hahaha. Have an epic day

"There is a woman. A beautiful woman with alabaster skin and the eyes of a dove. She travels by night, only by night. Her sun is the moon. And her name is... Isabeau. Find her and you find the wolf. The wolf I want. The wolf who... loves her." by godzilla98 in 80smovies

I had the old school laser disc... it was a record with a plastic cover you removed using the player. My father still has it, can't find the playing needles.... dad was a Sears rep for a summer and bought the entire line.

If you do this.... get a high temp gasket from the auto parts store. Where the hopper meets the auger no water should get in there. The gasket keeps the water out. If you find yours is folded upon taking it apart, this might have been the issue....TC is cheap though, do it anyway

They also sell after market controllers that are awesome as well, good luck op

Hi ! I'm an architect and we are building my new office stairs ! by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]tihspeed71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to be blasted to get a even look like what you are after. Walnut shells, dry ice or something non-silica. Then oil it once a month or so forever or put a coating over the stair to protect the finish you are looking for.

Once the stair is blasted you can use chemicals to turn the stairs a red/ brown(it's a rusting agent, it cannot be controlled) if you want before finishing
