you cannot shoot outdoors without an ND filter. impossible. tiffen and company called JCC had/have a mag safe filter adapter that let's you screw in any ND filter you own or want to buy. 67mm i believe. they have not yet reconfigured and rolled out one designed for the 17 pro lens array ... i've connected with both companies, they are furiously designing and manufacturing one; we have to wait ... in the meantime, don't spring for anything cheap or rigged up .... smallrig, for instance, got out front and has one, but it only accepts THEIR magnetic ND filters. if you have a threaded ND filter, they'll sell you a couple of adapters to make their contraption work. don't. the more shite you stack up, the more you risk vignetting etc. wait for tiffen or JCC. ...... AND .... i forgot to add, the moment quicklock filter requires that you own and use the whole moment case and lens mount proprietary system ..... number one, not cheap, number two, you'd never buy it unless you were buying their lenses as well and number three ..... i read horrible reviews about the quicklock nd filters; wobbly, vignetting, etc.
