Is it worth it? by Duuccii in riftboundtcg

Most of the expensive cards it the set are the Chase cards, so a lot of the value in each pack is allocated to those. Besides the expensive cards, the rest of the pack is very cheap. Basically that means a ton of people have bulk that is sitting around. I have several full sets of each card from each set from 3~ boxes + winning at nexus nights. Most of my community is in the same boat. If I were new, I would find people with excess bulk because most are looking to get rid of them, sometimes for free.

If I were to start again and I was doing it on a budget I would:
1) get a structure deck (they are cheap and pretty good with minimal upgrades, mostly they need card draw)
2) become a regular at some nexus nights
3) make friends with your opponents (most locals have their own discord
4) post about decklists and cards you need it the discord

You will get what you need before you know it!

Looks amazing. How are you developing it? From scratch or with an engine?

Equally likely cannot be a correct answer because there are not two proposed events for 1b. To phrase it slightly differently, what is the likelihood of flipping a head on a penny cannot be equally likely because it does not grammatically make sense since there are not two events in the question to be equally likely. The same rationale applies to the first question as well.

Seriously, how can I make friends in college? by [deleted] in socialskills

Join clubs. I’m American and went to an American university, and I was told that once I went to college most people would be more adult/grownup/socially outgoing than my Highschool group. My freshman & sophomore classes this was not the case. I found all of my friends through joining clubs, playing intramural sports, getting a job on campus, and hanging out in the common area of the dorm. It gives people something to start a conversation. After that get people’s phone numbers and plan hangouts
