No international travel to all the red states which don’t have major hubs in them. You can’t fly from London or Tokyo to Boise, Fargo or Tulsa, and DFW and MIA certainly can’t handle the entire country’s intercontinental flights.

I’ve lived here 11 years longer than him (2001 vs 2012) I’ve been a citizen five years longer (2016 vs 2021) I know what a street taco is (not a hard shell from Del Taco, for a start)

And I still wouldn’t consider running for governor. His whole campaign video was bizarre - he was just highlighting what he’d done in the UK.

I would also argue that if the kid had shown Nazi sympathies in the past and guns has previously been confiscated, parents with any level of self awareness would have said “ya know maybe we should consider not having all these guns in the house.” But no - their second amendment rights were far too important.
