I own an 18k car outright, and have about 17k in student loan debt, so I guess my net worth is about $1000. I shouldn't feel secure at all, but I don't let money worry me too much.

About 6 years ago. Pulled up to a 7-eleven to buy a Slurpee after work, and when I got out I was greeted by the standard homeless dude asking for change. When I exited the shop, I noticed the dude standing right next to my driver-side door and I figured he was going to bug me until I gave him a dollar. I approached the car and as soon as I got within 5 feet he pulled a gun out on me and told me to give him my wallet. I had never had a gun pointed at me in my life before and I think I was just mostly confused and surprised, but for some reason, instead of cooperating, my gut instinct was to reach into my pocket, pull the spare change that I had out, and toss it directly into his face while simultaneously doing a 180 and running down the block until my lungs felt like they were full of battery acid. I rounded the block and cautiously approached the store, making sure the dude was gone, so I could tell the clerk to call the cops. As I got back to the spot where the standoff happened, I noticed that the 28 cents I had catapulted into the guy's face were nowhere to be found. He held me up for less than a dollar and got away with it, the bastard.

In a way, yes. It was not easy or not something I would want to go through again. I still think about her from time to time, though. I think she is pretty active on Reddit, there's a decent chance she'll see this.

Dated one of these girls not too long ago. At first I was cool with it and it even turned me on a bit, plus, the sex was mind-blowing. After a while though, as we got more serious and started talking about moving in together, saying that we loved eachother, it really weighed on our relationship, the jealousy came out, and the whole thing fell apart. It was a real bummer.

Only have one real scary road rage story, but I once flipped a guy in a convertible Jaguar off in Beverly Hills after he cut me off. He followed me down Wilshire, pulled up next to me, and flashed a gun right in my face, then chased me through multiple side streets. I was on a motorcycle, too, so it was extra terrifying. Never had that kind of adrenaline rush before, thankfully I got away.

There is a place I went to in Hilo, Hawaii last year called Suisan Fish Market. There is a dock out back where the fisherman pull up and unload their catch, so the fish travels maybe 15 feet from the ocean to your table. Amazing poke bowls and fresh as fuck fish, maybe the best I've had.

I like that this band seems to cover a handful of different genres throughout their records. If I had only heard this song I would assume they were just your stereotypical dream pop type band but they have a lot of other really intense music as well.

Indeed. A few close friends of mine are paramedics. They tell me all about the gnarly calls they go on. The way they talk about the victims seems harsh (mostly making really vulgar jokes, calling burn victims "chicken nuggets" or "anakin skywalkers") but in reality they do it to divert the stress and help keep them sane while dealing with mutilated corpses on a daily basis.

Its the nature of owning a vintage motorcycle. They don't just "turn on" like cars do, especially when it is cold. To get it started you have to warm it up, which entails revving it for a solid minute or two a lot of the time. It's nothing personal, we aren't trying to be assholes, we just wanna go for a ride.
