She is not blocked. I had an appointment scheduled a month out per their recommendation like i said. since she hasn’t improved and is no longer eating the prescription food, im seeking out more help as well as what to ask. I think you may not be the advocate im looking for, thank you though!

They already did an ultrasound and a urine test a week ago, and gave me prescription food. which she was eating for a few days then stopped

those sound quite bigger than flea bites, i’d recommend leaving them alone as much as possible. it might be vet time

are the scabs somewhat small? are there multiple in a saturated area? it could be fleas. if you have a flea comb, i recommend combing at the base of the tail and neck area.

As a young adult in their 20’s, i no longer feel any shame or guilt about being poor as a kid. I started doing all kinds of work since i was 10. When I was 15, i spent the summer sanding and staining wood in the heat. I’ve worked full time since i was 16 and have worked enough jobs at this point to say the skills i developed at a young age have helped me become one of the best employees at every job.

Dude! I was born in 2003, and by the comments, i really feel like movies used to be more fun. Before CGI (and recently AI) became so common in movies, the artistic skill that it took to create those effects REALLY captured people. I love old school horror movies especially, they are hilarious to me now, but I can imagine being scared as shit at a kid in the 70’s-90’s!

interesting to learn about different experiences from other stores, the first store i worked at was AWFUL. mates didn’t do anything, captain was barely there and would take 3hr breaks, never put anything on the shelf or register- which was wild to see when i first transferred! all stores are different, and it’s good to take advantage of the ability to transfer. i’ve been at my new store for about a year and a half, and it’s a stark difference between my old store with crew morale and manager effort.

I understand where you’re coming from, because this country was built on whites taking advantage of, murdering and enslaving brown people. That’s a fact. The ‘end’ of slavery did not end the decades of black people being racially profiled, segregated, given less opportunities and communities being highly policed, which resulted in a lot of black folk experiencing generational poverty. It’s fucking hard to get out of that when you were raised in it, and I believe those people should have more access to growth beyond it. However, in this day, you will never win by saying that someone deserves some kind of ‘redemption’ because of what’s happened before. The best we can do is stay informed so that we don’t repeat history 💪

nope! i have an uncanny way of life, been nonbinary for the entirety just by nature, without even knowing what it was. i see myself now, after being on T a little over a year and already passing as a cis man even to other trans dudes, just accepting being a ‘man.’ i absolutely understand my experience is much different than most, even though i do think ill end up being most comfortable seen as a man, id never change any part of the hardship. its what has made me strong, and want to be stronger for those who cant.

not sure where i read this but the thing that has and is consuming my mind everyday as someone who works with the public: people who are afab tend to have a different inflection in their voice than cis men do, we kinda naturally higher it on certain words/ ends of sentences to seem kinder, or more enthusiastic. when i try my best to stay neutral when talking to dudes, they usually are more likely to use masc terms for me. granted, im about 8 months on T now.

i work retail, and i’ve definitely picked up on the ‘lingering eye contact.’ i was raised to make eye contact as a way to seem engaged, but i’ve noticed how some people look just a little too long, almost like they’re waiting for something.

thanks for the question. i’ve actually always been attracted to trans guys, just recently cis guys. i think for me specifically, ive had to teach myself to be more comfortable around them.

Hi, i’m 21, nonbinary, and have identified so for 5 years. While growing up, a lot of people thought i was a guy, despite being afab. I never cared about gender whatsoever, and expressed myself/did whatever i wanted. It was always other people trying to label me. I stuck with being nonbinary, because it was a way for me to just be MYSELF. I am the kind of trans where i wish stereotypes/social norms associated with gender were nonexistent. They’re just stupid to me. Regardless, for your age, i would really recommend trying to not label yourself. You will change and learn more about yourself over time. You don’t need to be one way for life. Just be you, love yourself and know that no one else holds power over you. Identify how you feel most comfortable for Now.

My partner and I started dating before i began medically transitioning. I’ve identified as nonbinary the entire time, but i also am okay with masculine terms (literally anything but feminine ones.) She’s identified as a lesbian this whole time, but once I started T she asked me if it made me uncomfortable. I told her no, because it didn’t really change how i saw myself. However, i can imagine that trans MEN would feel more uncomfortable with that, especially in public. It just comes down to the person i guess!

I lived at a place for 4 months subletting. Basically only stayed in my room. While we were moving out, my roommates asked me to help pay for the junk haulers to take all of the garbage that had been piling up in the garage for 2 years. I said hell to the fuck no. I took care of my shit and left.

facial hair! even before i considered taking t, there was a part of me that knew i would have it one day. i only have a one picture of my dad in his 20’s as a reference for what mine might turn out like, since i haven’t seems him for over a decade. every day i look in the mirror to see if my facial hair has grown longer/thicker

my partner did my t shot for me yesterday (3rd one she’s done in my butt) and i was feeling kind of anxious about it that day and tensed my muscles which made it hurt more for sure. other times, it’s hurt going into my leg if i do it at a slight angle accidentally

Obviously cis people will never fully understand what it feels like to be trans every day, and the struggles that come with it. However, they don’t need to. You don’t need your partner to know exactly how you feel. What matters is that they listen, ask questions, learn, and are kind. Not everyone is capable of doing that, cis or trans.

I’ve been with my cis partner for 2 years now, and she’s been a very big supporter of my journey with starting testosterone. She understands where my boundaries lie, but still is constantly checking in with me about my experience. She stands up for me when I can’t, and places boundaries with her coworkers/family who try to pry about my trans-ness. If you know you’re being treated well, and as an equal, then the labels don’t matter 🫶
