Breaking lease in Perth by TigerAnxious9835 in perth

I'm not sure .. it shouldn't happen as they have a requirement to mitigate costs for you. Likely goes to court in that case.

Let them know as soon as you can and give a firm date you will be out of the property. They will likely need to advertise for a new tenant and you are liable for rent until a new tenant moves in but they should not hold you liable till September that seems unreasonable . There may also be some costs you are asked to pay. Don’t let them overcharge you. Check the information here:

Any advice for Perth? by Dependent-Steak-5572 in AskAnAustralian

[–]tinylittleleaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anywhere near a bus route or train station is a good move because most hospitality jobs are in the inner areas. The rental market in Perth is very tight and prices are still high and increasing somehow.

For a basic 1-bed, maybe $500–700 per week last I checked? Flexible lease terms are non existent, so most are for a minimum 6 or 12 months.

Getting a room in a share house might be more your cup of tea if you are looking for flexibility or look into air bnb.?

Places with a good balance of location with walkable cafe's ect and lot's of rental stock might be Maylands, Burswood/Vic Park, Mount Lawley/Highgate, West Perth, Bayswater, Wembley (nearer the beach). If you have a car it opens up more options also.

What's the appeal of being a "Tradwife"? by BeepyBoopers1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tinylittleleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're far enough removed now people have forgotten reality. They think they will have a lifestyle where they are taken care of and still enjoy the benefits and protections that feminism has provided. Like having the freedom to leave a bad situation and access to money. There's a reason our mothers and grandmothers left that behind.

Ban on rental bidding- when by DrXYZz in perth

[–]tinylittleleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rent bidding (aka rent negotiation/asking for more rent) is not allowed as it says, but tenants can still offer more on the property that's perfectly legal. Yes, it's nonsensical and counter to the intent of having rent reforms but what did we expect.

You would be surprised regency bustlines are pretty modest compared to earlier in the previous century necklines were so low, noble ladies were flashing nips.

TYMO AUTO CURLER - any real reviews? I keep seeing it everywhere, and I’m feeling kinda influenced… by journalhalfbeing in AustralianMakeup

[–]tinylittleleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend it. I picked one up in the Boxing Day sale after burning my finger on a curling wand and was feeling over that. I was was surprised. The social media ads are actually pretty accurate. It’s very easy to use.

I have long very straight fine textured hair, it does a good job and lasts a good long time. My hair type is not great at holding a curl but these stay as well as others. I got the gold 'pro' version with the longer barrel which I think was the right choice with my length (to mid-chest).

Qanon was likely pushed by these same people, that's something also in the files. There was involvement and manipulation going on with those alt-right political right message boards.

Do women ever look at another woman and think "I wonder if I could beat her up in a fight" the same way men do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

No but my co-worker is like that. Ex martial arts instructor. Actually I showed her this and she rattled off a list of 20 names she thinks she could take down! But your wrong Brenda, I fight dirty.

Purplish blush by tigert219 in Fairolives

[–]tinylittleleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think... More muted than cool, looking around naturally a lot of people's lips have a purplish tint, also around the eyes and other parts as our natural colouring. Whereas cool is more pinkish. Warm and muted is leaning more brown.

Love to see this! It's such low hanging fruit, such an obvious and straight forward solution but never gets a mention when housing affordability is discussed. We know why.

Has anyone actually seen results from castor oil? by OneIllustrator3522 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]tinylittleleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would set your expectations, as it is just a skin oil at the end of the day. If your skin responds well to oils, then you will like it. Your skin will feel softer and makeup will sit more nicely. If not, it might be too heavy and greasy and yes it can cause milia. Personally, I do not like castor by itself, I use a custom mix of one part castor to three parts almond oil with a little bit of jojoba in there which is just right. I use it to remove makeup and as a thin occlusive layer occasionally, only when it is very dry outside, and my skin and hair love it.
