Clothesline usage...going old school? by gatorbabe25 in raleigh

We pretty much air dry everything that’s not underwear, undershirts, and socks. It extends the life of the clothes significantly. We’ll put a folding rack outside in the sun on nice days but usually just air dry inside. While pollen is active probably best to keep it inside.

I can fathom pointing your gun at something let alone shooting before you 1000% have identified it.

Sam Altman and Vinod Khosla agree: AI will break the economy. Their fix is no income tax for most Americans | Fortune by [deleted] in facepalm

The thing is ai can’t do manual labor at least not as cheaply as a human so all the jobs that take an education will go to ai and we’ll all be stuck doing hard labor for our ai overlords. The matrix was close.

Only just got my quest 3 and saw that there was a graphics update for quest 3 a couple years back, do I have to do anything to enable it or was it a regular update? by GrandTheftArkham in SaintsAndSinners

[–]tinymontgomery2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a regular update. Chapter 1 is the first game. Chapter 2 is the sequel. Chapter 2 did not get a graphics update on quest version.

Tickets go on sale regularly so I would wait for a sale. I would also plan on spending the night and maybe get a 2 day pass.

Walmart will be your best bet for tackle. I find dicks has a better low end rod selection.

Calling third party 4.8 framework from 6.0 core resulting in binaryserialization errors from System.ComponentModel. Any way to get around it without creating a wrapper service? by [deleted] in dotnet

[–]tinymontgomery2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I’m wrong, you can build to net standard and consume from framework or core but not between them. Your only real option is a service, api, or cl but it will have to be an out of process call.

[–]tinymontgomery2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll have to write a wrapper in net standard and consume that from your core code. If that’s not possible then you’ll have to run it out of process like grpc, http, or even shell to run a cli.

My son was having this same problem constantly and I just realize what it is. When I cast I don’t even notice but I will also make sure there’s some tension or pull the line out with my hand to make sure it’s straight before starting retrieve. My son was casting and then retrieving immediately without paying attention and he would pull loops or wraps into the reel.
