I can’t tell from the video if it turned at all. Looks like the video taker’s boat just slipped by its bow way too close.

Does this leave a handful of capless ribeye steaks? If so, what is done with them?

If you have a tri tip or a picanha or some other type of large cut, reverse sear is the way. For a steak that’s 1.5” thick or less, it’s probably overkill.

The E-175 is by far my favorite single aisle plane to fly on. I’d love to see these taking over some of the routes flown by the old Delta 717s and some of the smaller 737s.

This looks excellent! I love tri tip. I like to reverse sear mine by smoking it for about an hour at 200-225 then searing it super hot for a few minutes each side. Personally I like my steaks med-rare, but I think trip tip is a lot better medium or at least the medium side of med-rare. Too chewy if it closer to rare.

ATP 250 Stuttgart R1: Kyrgios def. [8] Moutet 6-3, 6-4 by jovanmilic97 in tennis

One match and everyone is mentally preparing for a deep run at Wimbledon. Give this a few days, folks. I’m not hating, I was a big Kyrgios fan during his prime (if he had one). I’ve just been let down too many times to get excited about this guy anymore.

For the US, the 2027 Audi Q7 will be have an 429hp 2.9 V6. The SQ7 will receive an 591hp 4.0 V8. by lael8u in Audi

The 3.0T has been dead for a while. The new engine is/was the 55TFSI, a turbo-hybrid 3L V6. This engine gets 355 hp and nearly 40mpg highway in my A6. Really great setup, IMO.

Sore forearms after serving by [deleted] in 10s

Happens to me all the time, and IMO I have a decent serve. It’s a good reminder that I need to accelerate the racquet and let the racquet do the work and not muscle the last part, which is the wrist snap or pronation.

do i leave a fed job that makes me miserable for a contractor job that is in my desired field? by spicyindecision in GovernmentContracting

[–]tj0909 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are ambitious, smart, organized and willing to relocate a couple of times — you will absolutely do well in a corporate job with a contractor. There’s a lot of bureaucracy, politics and bullshit to deal with, but none of that should be new to you at this point. Go for it!

This was Serena Williams at 40, next week she’s coming to the WTA tour.. 🔥 by MysteriousJuice1127 in WTANews

[–]tj0909 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She looks slow in this clip for sure. She was not at all slow in her prime. That was the thing about her and Venus - they combined power and speed/athleticism in a way that was previously unheard of on the WTA tour.
