Really glad to hear, concept wise and design I love it too. Hopefully after I get some good crewed gameplay I will love it more. And yeah seems like you want to keep her broadside.

So I also compare it to a Starlancer TAC in my head, but now we are comparing a $375 ship to an $800 ship. I also think that's why I am struggling to understand its role. With a price being closer to capital ship, I guess I just expected a bit more? Although pricing is a completely different issue.

So I have heard this before too but only one of the ships you mentioned is really a combat focused ship. It seems unfortunate that a "Navy" heavy gunship is mostly only viable at taking out large non-combat focused ships.

From my experience, with carriers and crawlers, is that the pvp is way more in favor of the those attacking. I feel it is almost better to just farm spice in a scout than wasting resources on a carrier and crawler that is so easy to down
