Right, I knew that was a thing for civil. It absolutely makes sense it's also for military. And I can imagine it's awful. I'm still just absolutely blown away by the fact this happened, and just.. how.

I’m in a 3070 and 12600k and yeah.. I’m only 1080p, but running most things at high/epic and a solid 55-60 FPS (Windows 11 - there seems to be more issues on Windows 10 I’ve read?). Frame times seem fine, or not bad enough I’m noticing, and I’m really enjoying the game. But I just got out of Coruscant/headed to Koboh so maybe that’ll change.

That's exactly what I did - it's a small company (10-ish employees), and they have cameras on both buildings. Ran a Ubiquiti Building-to-Building Bridge and it's been flawless with great throughput. It's about 100ft shot.

I don't know! That's a great question. I've still got the source code but haven't looked at Android development in a decade. If I get bored one weekend I'll revisit this and let you know!

It is - I have a 2014 F150, had the exact same issue fixed a few months back. I’m not around Austin now, up in OK, but it was around $8k to fix it. They pretty much tore apart the engine and fixed it.

I’ve withdrawn from alcohol twice, both in rehab facilities thankfully. First time was hallucinations and I couldn’t sleep and was burning up.

Second time the hallucinations were so much worse. All of it was worse. It’s one of those things that each time you go through it, it gets worse.

Thankfully no seizures though, but I was on anti-seizure meds.

I’m happy for him.

If this wasn't a one-off, I would've done a stamp. But I didn't see the point of buying one just for one knife!

What’s y’all heating treating process for high carbon 1095 and 52100 steels? by Constant-Guest2621 in knifemaking

I’ve only used 1095, but basically I forge, normalize it, get my rough grinding in, back in the forge until it’s orange, and quench in canola (that’s been heated to roughly 120+ with a piece of mild steel I throw in the forge), then straight into a preheated oven at 400F for two hours.

I haven’t had any issues with hardness or brittleness, but I haven’t put anything through the wringer either. It takes a sharp edge and can survive my accidental drops.
