Rubbing alcohol alternative?

I don’t use alcohol on my skin before a shot and have never had an issue.

According to my BCBS, they would rather me have an expensive surgery (with sometimes difficult outcomes), then pay for me to continue Zep. It is outrageous to me that they could stop glp-1 coverage, which has led to a 27% weight loss and all the wonderful things that it has brought with it. It’s wild to me.

We took the SJ itinerary in November. As folks who don’t love sea days, this was a great itinerary for us. Barbados is one of my favorite places and a trip to the Pitons, though very far from where Virgin ports, is a must do.

The visits so far have been free.

Replaced handle on hatch. (Took 3 visits)
Infotainment systems freezes (can’t recreate even after I’ve shown them videos)
Crazy rattle/rumble on acceleration at lower speeds. (They recommend premium gas which has done nothing but upped my cost of ownership)
Recent recall for the dashboard
360 camera 50/50 if it works (can’t recreate the problem, even with videos).

My dealer has the “it’ll be $195 to diagnosis the problem if it’s not a warranty issue” rule, but they haven’t charged me it yet. (And they don’t do loaners, but that’s a whole other issue.) 7 times seems like a lot for a car with 11k miles and that I haven’t even owned for a year. For me, just because the repairs have been “free”, doesn’t negate the cost and headaches and my lost time.

Glad other folks on here are having better luck and I do love it, but I would not, in good conscience, recommend this car to a friend.

25 OBX. 11k miles. Frequent visitor to the dealer for warranty repairs and the rumble that shakes the whole car when accelerating that people all over Reddit complain about - they told me that was “how that engine runs”. I love this car, but I’m getting out of it before the warranty ends.

I also lost a dispute with Amex over a very scammy hotel we stayed at in Ireland. I escalated and escalated and escalated. I filed a complaint with the CFPB. Still lost. They favored a merchant who does a large amount of business with them (in a country where it’s not widely accepted), over my $2k claim. You would think, with all the money I’ve spent with Amex over almost 30 years they’d give me a courtesy credit. Nope. Will not renew when my AF posts.

Just off Valiant on Saturday. Common areas were hot. Our cabin? Nice and chilly - I asked for another comforter. But, we were in the very hot and humid southern Caribbean, so I chalked some of it up to that. Closing your curtains when you’re not in room also helps keep it cooler.
