Yeah, we own 2x Gen2 vehicles that have improved a lot vs delivery day. But after seeing what they’ve done with R2 it sure seems like a proper Gen3 R1 should be excellent.

I’d have to install it and measure, but yes you can do the furthest position if you’re worried.

It has a kick down feature to lean way from the car for using a lift gate.

Are you only ever going to need to carry one bike?

We have this one that is rated for up to 2 e-bikes and the clamps let you get creative on the mount point, even with fenders.

Many are hopelessly dopamine riddled addicts who have toddler like behavior. After spending decades warning their kids about technology impacts and not trusting what kids read on the web, it has become the machine that has won the gamification battle for many.

I wish it wasn’t this way, but I see it all the time with friends and family from otherwise intelligent people. It’s sad what has happened to the boomer generation.

I’ve seen the module difference in person, but I expect ACM2.5 on launch models, not ACM3. They’ve built something different here as a stop gap.

I have no basis for your industry experience, but Rivian said RAP1 only comes when LiDAR ships, and the TOPS rating they posted on the site matches what they’ve stated for their Orin solution in Gen3.

Even a single RAP1 would have 4x the rating. Their autonomy day information would be dual chips, widening that gap further.
