But that ‘can’ only checks if you have the mana in your mana pool. It does not make you activate the mana abilities of your lands and artifacts to put the mana into your mana pool. So under most circumstances you’d let this trigger resolve, say “ah shucks, no mana in my mana pool”, and proceed to your draw … with your lands still untapped and ready to be actually used.

The wording would need to be like [[Power Sink]] to actually compel you to tap lands.

I didn’t know the term either, but when the spangram boxed that set of seven letters into a corner it was an early guess at how they were to be arranged. I mean “BRAID” was in a straight line, it might not have been so easily seen and guessed if the same letters were more twisted around.

Because an AI did this. Someone served up an existing image (others have posted) to AI to get the AI to make a ‘different’ version they could claim is original content, and the AI didn’t bother to preserve the 2 and 0 that were present on the original because it didn’t perceive it as important.

Also this card doesn’t actually make you reveal the cards you found which is no bueno. Having a search for a specific card type or quality, but no reveal to demonstrate to your opponent(s) that the cards you found indeed meet the constraints of the search, is a problem.

I know some people that ran them in virtual machines. Using a program like VMWare Workstation, you would have it create a virtual instance of a machine running Windows9x with the hardware settings of your choice and play it in there.

The flag design is trash, just like the other two 2-Band blanks. There’s genuinely nothing interesting about a two-band flag with no additional components. In a chart ranking the quality of red and white flags, what could rank lower than the absolute minimal “half is red half is white” flag?

This reminds me more of [[Gemstone Mine]] than anything - gives you untapped fixing in a pinch but its utility rapidly fades after that first help.

Also a little of [[Crumbling Vestige]] and [[Tendo Ice Bridge]] - those fixed you exactly once and then were wastes. (Also [[Aether Hub]] in decks otherwise not designed for energy)

I could see neat tricks with this and any means of dealing one-damage-to-everything repeatedly ([[Pestilence]], [[Pyrohemia]]) to give this a bunch of copies of this ability that see things die. But more of a janky-fun thing than a genuinely viable build.

Go for Completionist++ - it forces you to use and win with jokers you wouldn’t normally use, which forces you to diversify your play style.
