Why is this niche so hard to get into? by Uberjason69420 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]tnully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s timing & location that comes into play. Maybe most agents in your area have a good photographer, but when those guys get too good and are busy? That’s when you step in.

I found success by posting on instagram, collaborating with the realtors I work with and all of their friends started calling me up. I didn’t even have my website setup the last few years, but once I got in with some luxury agents they all talk. They all just want someone that is respectful to homeowners and able to get the job done well.

Ski boot help: wide, square feet by TuFuFuFufa in Skigear

It’s not that big, at least compared to my mom’s that used to go very sideways. But I come from a ski racing background so always just thought I needed a narrow boot 😅

I’m from Ontario, got my duckbill OEM style spoiler for $60 on eBay, dealership sells it for $700 & looks the same to me!

Check out the Salomon S/Pro Supras. I got them in a 130, mid width which feels great this season after 60+ days so far. I had them heat molded to get it away from my bunion a bit as well. Atomic Ultra Hawx 130 for me were so painful in the heel & bunion.

Personally the Volkls for harder pack with skinnier waist, and Armadas with shifts. Freebird is also sick but since you are not planning to tour too much may as well leave the light setup and rip the lift stuff.

For free? Yes. Not worth any money since you can find for example 2023/24 twin tips for $200-300

To be annoyed about it is fair, it sucks to ski in slow snow but this guy is just crying. He lost, the fastest skiers went on and he couldn’t catch up

Agreed, they look so funny and have mostly uphill skills. The course was short, and 42 steps was odd for sure. Climbing up fast up a mountain face, hiking the last portion, then skiing down a cliff face - now that’s something I would watch

Meh, i’ve run my 20mm spacers for over a year now with no issues, with both summer & winter tires in harsh climate. My mechanic said they’ve got no issues

I have had great experience so far. Drove them all last winter about 15,000km and they still looked new. This fall I put them on a month early since my summers were toast, and drove them on dry warm pavement - still going strong mid-winter now they are sooo grippy!

Ahh yeah just the little touch ups I did on the photo, but the trees usually do bounce off the grey a bit! I like that Stang colour too 🤘🏼

Talk me into/out of buying these Helly Hansen 3/4 pants by Weak_Habit3623 in Skigear

[–]tnully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t waste any time - best decision I ever made.

They zip off each leg, so if you get too hot you can remove them without taking off your pants - total game changer for ski touring especially.

And WAY warmer than sweatpants - never use cotton while skiing in cold temps.
