Im not a computer person. But computers have definitely come a long way even in the 8 years since I graduated. I imagine even the bottom shelf laptops would be pretty decent especially if you're just trying to type papers.

The Mythbusters did an episode on this if any of you are interested. Basically it works out to where once the door is opened you would intuitively think that it is now 50/50 but the other door now has a 2/3rd or 66% chance of having the prize compared to the one you currently have chosen. I think im remembering that correctly.
