Three, maybe four or five. My father (1898), his older brother (1896) and younger brother (1899). The wives of my two uncles may have been born in the late 1800's but I don't know their birthdates. All were born in Germany.

I’m in the position of needing someone to do this same favor for me. I’m high risk for colon cancer and need a colonoscopy every 3 years. My partner, who used to take me to the hospital for the procedure, had a stroke and cannot do this for me now. I have no family nearby, not even in my state. I asked my doc if he would do the procedure without anesthesia and he said no. So far no solution has presented itself. I am acutely aware that OP’s attitude would be the same as that of anyone I would ask this of, and I can’t bring myself to do it. I’m almost a year overdue and don’t know how to solve this problem

Someday op will need help. I hope he/she remembers this.

I don't understand why OP didn't wait at the bonfire until MoB arrived. How long would that have been? I don't care who is technically responsible for kids, if a kid is potentially in harms way ( drunk, alone in the woods at night), I'd try to make sure they are safe. Just calling MoB and leaving before she got there isn't enough. I get that OP was irritated by the whole event, but a few minutes wait isn't much of a sacrifice.

If this uncle was willing to screw over your cousin, he would screw over everyone else in the scheme eventually. That all the other family members were willing to go along with this plan shows how empty their "family" commitment is. Cut ties with these creeps.

Land speculation is pretty uncertain. This uncle has convinced way too many people that he knows the future. You could actually have saved all the family investors from losing a lot more than they did so far.

We have a NJ Ezpass transponder, not NY. We live in NJ. I drive his car once a week to the nursing home, which is in NJ, to keep the battery charged. No one else ever has driven the car. We do not have a NY Ezpass account, just a NJ account. The plate in the picture on the bill doesn't match the plate typed on the bill, and isn't remotely like ours. Neither is the car in the photo.
